A HAIR CARE fan shared the inexpensive transition shampoo she uses for fall.
She explained that it only took a few minutes to get her hair into its fall-like state.
Reddit user RavingNative shared the hair care tip in a post.
She shared that Tressa Watercolors Color Depositing Shampoo in Liquid Copper was her favorite fall purchase.
The $22 coloring shampoo not only enhanced her hair color, but also kept her looking more harmonious all season long.
“I also wear earthy colors everywhere: makeup, clothes, hair, nails,” she said.
“I grab my humidifier and use my facial steamer a lot more often.
“I also get my boots out and give them a good polish. I stock up on lip products (I’m going for peptides this year).”
The skin care fanatic added that the shampoo works well on unbleached, dark hair.
“Virgin hair is fine. I have virgin brown hair and it works great on mine with no damage,” she said.
“It doesn’t bleach your hair; it coats it with a color that you can rinse out.”
She explained that she adjusts her beauty routine as the weather gets colder, especially her skincare.
“I will definitely continue to use sunscreen, but I am switching to more hydrating formulas.”
She added that she exfoliates less often in the fall and winter because her skin doesn’t need it.
Others with brown hair agreed that this product was their first choice to freshen up their hair.
“I put copper conditioning hair dye in my hair to give it a cinnamon spicy vibe!” one commenter said.
“I do this too and like to use the Tressa Watercolors Color Depositing Shampoo in Liquid Copper,” said another.
“The whole line is great.”
They added that they leave the shampoo in for up to three minutes for a subtle tint.
For a more “intense” color, they choose to leave the curls in for ten to fifteen minutes.
“It is truly amazing,” they said.
“It’s definitely visible on my highlights, most of my hair is brown,” one fan said.
“I’m off it for three weeks and I’m going to freshen it up soon. You can dilute it with another color if you want.”
