Buying COSMETICS can be pricey, but one beauty fan has found a way to keep it affordable.
She said she sees the process as a “scavenger hunt” to find the best that Dollar Tree has to offer.

“There are a few Dollar Trees near where I live, but usually I can only find brand name products at one of them,” she said.
“It’s like a treasure hunt, lol.”
While shopping at Dollar Tree, she discovered cult favorites like Nyx and Revlon.
HOW IT’S DONE
According to Needhelpwmakeup, it takes some practice to score brand name products at a discount store.
Another Redditor asked how she does that.
“Did you find Nyx and Revlon at Dollar Tree?” they wrote.
“That’s so cool. I have that Wet N Wild lipstick. Probably two actually, by accident, lol.”
“They were hard to find. At first I only saw one color,” she said.
“But I’ve been keeping my eyes open for more and I’ve been lucky lol. I’ll definitely keep checking these out.
“So far I’ve seen a few Maybelline lip products in non-specific packaging, four total of Revlon lipsticks, and even some Revlon foundations in darker skin tones.”
She also found, “Three shades of Nyx lip cream, just two shades of Wet n Wild lipsticks, and even some solid Almay eyeshadows.”
Revlon lipstick sells for $6.48 on Amazon and Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream also sells for $7.08 on Amazon – Dollar Tree sells them for $1.25.
BREAD AND BUTTER
Needhelpwmakeup added that she gave Dollar Tree’s B-Pure brand a try.
“So I tried a few of their products,” she said.
“Two of their Clean Beauty line cream blush/lip duos. Very creamy, sheer, but buildable and blendable.
“Their pH changing rose lip balm. I didn’t realize it was pH changing at first but it smells really nice and it’s hydrating.
“I just don’t like the bright pink color [color] it’s turning into totally my vibe lol.
“Their essentially timeless hydrating serum concealer [has] hydrating, buildable coverage. [It’s] suitable for someone with dry skin, or someone who wants a lighter look.
“[I tried] their hydrating lipstick in the tropical print. Beautiful color, creamy, hydrating, but almost too soft of a product because the ball keeps trying to break off.
“I can scrape it into another container and just apply it with a lip brush. Oh, and it smells like crayons, too.”
Despite some shortcomings, she said she is “pretty happy” with B-Pure’s performance.
“Some of them may not quite fit my personal needs, but I make sure they work and if you have dry skin that wants a lighter look and feel, I would definitely recommend them,” she said.
