But sometimes inhibitions come undone, especially after a few drinks.

This is what happened to Mack Mitchell, who shares videos under the TikTok username @mac_mitchell.
While drunk, she had the name Andy tattooed on the bottom of her foot. Many people said it was a reference to a Tory Story.
“Would I have done it sober?” the US-based woman wonders. requested.
“No…probably not,” she decided.
“Do I regret it?” she asked.
After a moment of silence she said, “No… probably not.”
In the caption she wrote: “If you’re looking at the heel of my foot, no you’re not. Look away.”
In the comments, people let us know how much they loved her tattoos.
“This automatically gives you swag,” said someone.
Another said: “You will never regret this tattoo.”
“This is really dope,” wrote a third.
“Why do I want it??? I’m not even drunk,” wrote a fourth.
While many people understood the reference to the Disney character, it seemed to escape some.
“Please tell me your husband’s name is Andy,” someone said.
Another commented: “Is your husband’s name Andy? [shocked face emojis].”
“Girl…it took a while,” said a third.
“The amount of people in the comments who don’t know this is from Toy Story 🤣 Btw, epic tat!” someone else wrote.
There are many people who regret the tattoos they got, with one Redditor saying that he “changed as a person” and that the tattoos no longer appealed to him.

What to do and not to do when getting a tattoo
1. Think, think and think again
Tattoos that you get done on a whim are much more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo that you have thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you have chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
In the UK you must be 18 years old to get a tattoo.
3. Don’t negotiate the price
When you go to a tattoo shop, the price is the price. You pay for the time and skill of an artist, they charge what they think those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed when you’re hungry
Eat before your tattoo session and stay hydrated. You are about to undergo a period of prolonged physical discomfort, if you are feeling a little weak from hunger or dehydrated it will not go as smoothly as it should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before getting a tattoo
If you are drunk or on drugs, do not get a tattoo. In fact, if your tattoo artist has any of their stuff, they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicants. I would also not drink the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make you bleed more.
“Most of them are really great work, typical American traditional,” they said.
