I got pregnant at 47 – trolls say they ‘couldn’t think of anything worse’
A 47-year-old woman has left people stunned by announcing she is expecting her eighth child.
Among the stream of people congratulating her were trolls who claimed it wasn’t fair for children to have “elderly” parents.
Franky (@itsfranky_) is steadily growing her following on TikTok, where she provides a glimpse into motherhood.
She went viral on the social media app when she revealed that she unexpectedly became pregnant at the age of 47.
The mom has since been making videos where she jokes about her husband’s reaction to their growing family and shares updates about her “weird” desires.
In a recent five-second clip, she described herself as “vintage” as she rubbed her baby bump and smiled excitedly.
“I’m a baby from 1977 with my baby from 2025!” read the text over the video.
More than 42,000 people liked the post and flooded the comments section with congratulations.
“Girl 47??? No,” someone wrote. “You are radiant, congratulations and good luck with everything!!”
“You look like a baby from the 90s,” another commented.
“Babies are a gift from God, you are blessed. Wishing you a safe delivery,” said a third.
However, others were shocked by Franky’s baby announcement.
“OMG I would die and I always think about the young kids with the elderly parents,” said one troll.
“Please don’t give my mom any ideas for this, I like being the baby of the family,” wrote another.
“1976 baby here and I couldn’t imagine a worse situation [laughing] Good luck,” a third joked.
Franky was defended by a stream of commenters who said their parents had them mid-life.
“My mother was 43 when I arrived, my sister said it kept her young,” one person wrote. “I’m 39 and planning my first for next year.”
