I had one of the most embarrassing moments ever with a guy from Love Island USA
A former X-FACTOR USA student has told how she dealt with the awkward moment she ran into a man from a popular reality show.
Carly Rose Sonenclar couldn’t believe what was happening after she ran into a Love Island USA season 6 cast member and literally ran away.

Singer-songwriter Carly Rose SonenclaR rose to fame in 2012 at the age of 13 on season 2 of The X-Factor USA.
Her striking audition and second place finish caught the attention of Simon Cowell and even earned her a recording contract.
Now at 25, she’s back in the spotlight thanks to a viral video about her embarrassing encounter with a man in the last season of Love Island USA.
“This past weekend I experienced one of the most embarrassing moments of my 25-year career,” she began.
The scenario was set in an open-air concert hall called Penmar in Los Angeles.
As she walked towards her friend, her attention was diverted by someone she thought she knew.
“I instantly recognize this guy as this guy I met the week before. I was at a show with my brother and we both just became really good friends with this guy,” she added.
Since they all partied together and went to a bar, her memory may be a little hazy.
“I only met him once, and we might have had a drink,” she explains.
She runs straight towards the man in the distance, thinking they were friends, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Carly Rose ‘cuts’ and ‘weaves’ her way through the crowd to greet him, dragging her friend along with her.
“That man is sitting there on a picnic blanket with five girls,” she said.
I’m starting to realize, the way he’s treating me, that maybe he doesn’t know who I am, and I’m like, ‘That’s so weird. How could he not know who I am?'”

She immediately introduces herself and says “Hey,” as if they are old friends.
She said he didn’t seem to recognize her, even though they had “spent the whole night together.”
He played along for a while, but she noticed he was acting strangely.
“I’m starting to realize that maybe the way he’s treating me, he doesn’t know who I am, and I’m like, ‘That’s so weird. How could he not know who I am?'” she explained.
Eventually he realizes he doesn’t know who she is and she tells him so.

“I’m not going to lie to you. I don’t think we’ve ever met,” Connor replied.
I was like, ‘Carly, you’ve made a huge mistake.’ I had been watching Love Island [USA] the night before, and this guy came in like a bomb.”

“But you seemed so confident that I wanted to make it seem like you were.”
BIG REVEAL
She realised she didn’t know this man and even confused him because she had watched the latest episode of Love Island USA the night before.
“I thought, ‘Carly, you’ve made a big mistake.’ I had been watching Love Island [USA] the night before, and this man came in like a bomb,” she explained.
It was Connor News from Love Island USA Season 6.

Connor came in on Day 2 like a bomber and left on Day 15, not clicking with anyone.
“At that point my brain went blank and I turned the two around,” she said.
The couple decided to pretend it never happened and shake it off.
Carly Rose watched him go back to the five girls he was with and joked: “Love Island clearly wasn’t for you.”
Viewers saw the moment as a positive interaction.
“Oh, he’s so sweet,” someone responded.
“Stop, he’s so sweet,” said another.
“I bet he was really nice,” one fan wrote.
