I have a fuller bust and got the best Tesco buy – £16 co-ord looked so expensive
A FASHION lover shared some of her best finds from the latest Tesco F&F range – and they’re busty.
Shopping with a larger bust is never fun: clothes often fit too tight or too loose, which can be frustrating.
But if you’re looking for summer pieces that are easy on the wallet and also fit perfectly, you’re best off heading to your local Tesco, where fashionista Sarah Roberts recently bagged a monster haul.
Not one to keep the door shut, the brunette beauty took to TikTok to show off her top pieces, including a black-and-white two-piece suit.
The zebra print co-ord, which includes the on-trend maxi skirt and a chic blouse, cost a total of £34, but you can also buy them separately for £18 and £16 respectively.
“When I saw this I knew I needed it,” said Sarah, who added that the outfit reminded her of a more upscale brand.
The 5’4″ fashionista, who posts under the username @sarahrroberts_took a UK size 12 for the top section for a more airy look and took her usual UK size 10 for the bottom section.
While the customer was browsing the latest F&F collection of the season, he also bought a pair of lightweight, wide-leg trousers with a tie-dye effect at the bottom.
Sarah thought the trousers, at an affordable price of £18, paired with the matching shirt (also £18) would make a fantastic festive outfit.
No summer wardrobe is complete without a classic white maxi dress, and the popular supermarket has come up with the perfect choice.
The white dress, which retails for £25, has an elasticated back, making it ideal for fashionistas with a fuller bust, according to Sarah.
In the clip, the happy customer also showed off a simple black maxi skirt – another must-have, which the store also offers in khaki.
The maxi style, £16, was followed by a matching T-shirt, £14, and a navy striped midi dress with thin straps.
“I love the drawstring detail on the bust and the straps are adjustable,” Sarah said of this £19.50 find.
Not only the happy customer is impressed with the fantastic loot, other TikTok users were also very happy with it and praised the supermarket for its affordable range.
Onesaid: ”There’s been a lot of f&f on sale the last few days.”
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale says:
Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you pop in to do your weekly shop, you can also pick up a selection of wallet-friendly, stylish items for the whole family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 percent rise in the quarter thanks to ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earned the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s George clothing line earned the supermarket £1.5m in 2023, 80 per cent of clothes at Sainsbury’s were sold at full price rather than discounted, and sales of Nutmeg at Morrisons have also risen by 2 per cent over the past year.
How is it that supermarket fashion is so successful?
The clothing is not only affordable but also of good quality, and much of the clothing is part of programs such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last for years.
And because they buy so much stock, they can deliver quickly and the volumes are cheaper.
“Wow, they all look good,” said another.
“Beautiful 💕,” a third commented in surprise.
Heading to your nearest Tesco this weekend? Don’t forget to check out their swimwear collection. The line would look good on anyone and won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
One of the hottest finds on the internet is a geometric white and black swimsuit, which costs just £22.50 and is sure to turn heads this summer.
There’s also a black, sparkly swimsuit available, an essential swimsuit that you can pick up for the budget-friendly price of £22.50.
