A Florida woman is using an ingredient to tame her frizzy hair.
She called the affordable $10 beauty purchase their “holy grail.”

Reddit user SoupSalt42 shared the hair care tip in a post.
She explained that she avoids glycerin in products because it makes frizzy hair worse.
“I live in Florida, so I deal with all kinds of humidity,” she says.
“If you live in a very dry or very humid climate, you MUST avoid glycerin as an ingredient in ANY hair products you use.
“Glycerin is used in almost every conditioner and it always made my hair so frizzy, but I just discovered it.”
Instead, she opted for a drugstore brand to hydrate her locks.
“My absolute holy grail for conditioner is Love Beauty and Planet!” she said.
“They sell at Target for about $10 a bottle, and they smell HEAVENLY!”

Despite the affordable price, she explained that the conditioner is more effective than the more expensive brands she has purchased.
“This $10 conditioner works better for me than any other high-end salon brand I’ve ever tried,” she said.
“If you’re looking for something higher quality, try to find one without glycerin. That way, you won’t have to deal with frizz anymore.”
