She decided to address the comment instead of ignoring it in a new video she posted to social media, and she wasn’t about to let the rudeness go away.

Amy replied to a comment that said: “Why does everyone on Ozempic always look like a skin bag?

“No muscle definition, just skin, lmao.”

Amy stood up to show off her gray sweater and brown sweatpants before pulling up her top.

She proudly showed off her belly and loose skin and said, “That’s right. There she is in all her glory.

‘All that excess skin. Can you believe Ozempic did this?

“I really can, because Ozempic helped me lose 160 pounds.”

Amy went on to educate the mean, explaining that losing a lot of weight often results in loose skin and had nothing to do with the drug itself.

And even though trolls may not like it, Amy was thrilled with the progress she’s made.

She continued, “But you know what, I take this all day because my health has gotten a lot better.”

The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @Amyinhalfmet more than 2.2 million views and 36,000 likes.

Many people took to the comments section and praised Amy for her weight loss.

One person wrote: “Any weight loss will cause that!!! People aren’t very smart sometimes.”

Another commented: “I have lost a lot of weight naturally and also have loose skin. Nothing to do with Ozempic.”

Ozempic – an expert’s opinion

Dr. Mitra Dutt, a GP from Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor, says: “Mounjaro works by activating two hormonal receptors (GIP and GLP-1), which increase insulin production, improve insulin sensitivity and work to reduce food intake.”

Saxenda, which contains the active ingredient liraglutide, is another slimming jab that has been available on the NHS since 2020.

While Mounjaro is being hailed as the ‘King Kong’ fat shot, a new weight loss drug called ‘Godzilla’ looks set to replace it.

Slimmers, who contained the active ingredient retatrutide, lost up to 29 percent of their weight in less than a year.

In comparison, the study results showed that semaglutide, known as Ozempic, could lead to up to 15 percent weight loss and tirzepatide, also known as Mounjaro, up to 23 percent.

Retatrutide works on three different receptors in the brain, turbocharging calorie burning and blunting feelings of hunger.

Existing weight loss shots only suppress appetite, while the new treatment also speeds up metabolism.

The new drug is still undergoing clinical trials, so it is not yet known whether it will be made available on the NHS.

“Weight loss did that, I have the same excess skin and I simply lost weight – no Ozempic involved,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I agree my health is so much better.”

“You look fantastic,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Say it again for the people in the back!”
