I lost so much hair after Covid, a small bottle prevented my locks from falling out
After struggling with hair loss, one woman swears by a life-changing purchase she stumbled upon that prevented future hair loss.
She repaired her locks with the magic contained in the shampoo sample she had found.
Reddit user Lucy_lucidity shared her hair struggles after a long battle with her health.
“I’ve lost so much hair because of the COVID-19 pandemic, because of the long COVID-19 pandemic,” she said.
After trying several shampoos and treatments with no success, she finally found the answer to her prayers to combat hair loss during the pandemic.
“I recently received a deluxe sample of Kerastase Genesis and I immediately bought a whole bottle because it worked so well,” she said.
“I don’t expect it to improve my hair growth, but it has completely stopped my hair loss,” she added.
She highly recommended the long lasting purchase and it also helped her get out of another difficult situation.
“It also made the flakes on my scalp disappear,” she continued.
She noted that “the little sample bottle lasted a whole month” — even when she “did a double cleanse every three days.”

Not only will you save your hair, but you will also save money.
And she wasn’t the only one who loved the lock-enhancing theft.
“I came here to say Kerastase Genesis is amazing. Their scalp serum is also amazing,” said one Redditor.
They had even found a way to get more bang for their buck.
“Last year I used a different shampoo to really clean my hair,” they explain.
“Then I went to work with Genesis and let it sit for a while while the conditioner sat in my ends.”
If you want to try it out for yourself, Shein sells a smaller bottle of the Kerastase Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo.
What causes hair loss?
Alexander Armand is a famous hairstylist and the creator of Alexander Armand’s hair loss oil Flourish.
“Some common causes of hair loss include stress, alopecia, hereditary hair loss, chemical treatments, high-tension hairstyles, diet and certain medications,” Armand told The US Sun.
“Androgenetic alopecia, also known as baldness, is the most common cause of hair loss. It is a genetic condition that causes thinning hair on the crown and top of the head in women, and thinning and receding hairlines in men.
“Telogen Effluvium is the technical term for a temporary form of hair loss that occurs when a large number of hair follicles enter the resting phase (telogen phase) as a result of stress, illness, surgery, childbirth, or major life changes.
“Hair usually grows back within a few months.
“Alopecia Areata is another form of alopecia. It is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the hair follicles, causing bald patches.
“The severity varies: some people lose all their hair, while in others it grows back.
“When it comes to your diet, deficiencies in nutrients like iron, vitamin D, biotin, zinc, and protein can contribute to hair loss.
Traction alopecia can be caused by tight hairstyles such as ponytails, braids or buns, which put tension on the hair follicles.
Excessive heat styling or chemical treatments can also damage the hair.
“In addition, certain medications, such as chemotherapy drugs, blood thinners, and some antidepressants, can have hair loss as a side effect.”
Originally costing $13, it now retails for $8.10.
The original poster also wanted to try the serum, but in the meantime had already had ideas about the brand’s mask.
“They sent a sample of the hair mask with the shampoo, and while I liked the mask, the shampoo seems to work just as well in conjunction with my regular hair mask and conditioner,” she said.
Another user was in the same boat.
“Good to know, because I was curious about the mask! The serum is insanely good, I can’t lie,” they said.
“It doesn’t change the way my hair feels, there’s no more greasiness or gunk in it. I actually think it helps control my sebum production. However, it does improve the health of my scalp and the density of my hair,” they added.
