A TOP Vinted seller reveals a simple trick she uses to boost her sales, and which 2000s items to pull out of storage.
Macy Hubbard, 19, started out as a dedicated shopper on the thrift shopping app.
But as she was packing her things to move from her At home in Auchterarder to study bee university in Edinburgh she discovered shipments clothes she could sell.

“So I thought I would just give it a try and put some stuff on Vinted to see what I can sell and if I can make some extra money from it. money before I went to college – and it just ended up going really well.
“There was a lot of interest in my stuff and since then I have never really stopped placing ads.”
Macy’s sells a wide variety of clothing and accessories, but she has the best luck with nightlife items and brands that are no longer found on the high street, like Morgan and Jane Norman.
And she says the more specific you are about the items you list on the app, the faster you’ll sell them.
Macy said, “I add the measurements of the items in my list, so for example the bust measurement of a top, the length of the inseams of a pair of pants, or the length of a skirt or dress.
“And I always sell the items that I mention the dimensions for. You notice that they sell better.”
The Vinted pro also says it’s important to be honest about the products you list on the site.
She said: “Definitely make sure you have clear photos. I think it sounds pretty obvious, but often adverts have really dark or blurry photos and it’s hard to see what you’re actually going to get.
“Also, if the item you are selling has any defects, it is very important to take clear photos of them and mention this in the advertisement.”
