THIS season, bows are everywhere: in our hair, on our gifts, on our clothes and in our homes.
The festive trend has indeed taken over, with countless home décor retailers offering beautiful bow garlands to their customers.
But what if you could make your own Christmas garland for a fraction of the price and get into the festive spirit at the same time?
This is exactly what a clever DIY fan known only as @at_the_mcgillens on TikTok, decided to do so, sharing the tutorial and epic results on social media.
In the videothe frugal woman explained that she had bought two sets of cute bows for just £3 each from B&M, in a cute baby pink and forest green colour.
The rest was pretty simple: After removing all the backing, the DIY enthusiast grabbed the hot glue gun and proceeded to glue the bows together on the side.
“Two packs made one long garland in front of my fireplace – and I absolutely love it.”
The stunning transformation cost her just €6 – or a whopping €120 less than buying a similar ready-made one from chic brand Anthropologie.
Absolutely delighted with the stunning makeover, which perfectly matched the aesthetic of the living room, the woman continued in the comments: ‘So, so easy.
“Pink and green can’t be beat.”
