I played Capcom’s upcoming game Monster Hunter Wilds at Gamescom
We just had our first hands-on demo of Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds. I got to play two single player demos. The first set seemed to be at the beginning of the game, a new region of the world had opened up and an extinct species was supposedly out there. I took on a Chata Cabra in the tutorial mission equipped with the hope glade, a spear-like weapon that uses insects to buff you and unlock special attacks. And I was terrible at it. The second demo was a lot harder and had us fighting an alpha dash agua, a large furry mammoth-like beast that was awesome as multiple other beasts entered the fray and fought each other as we herded the creatures into enemy territory. The game definitely seemed early with visual glitches and bugs, but that’s to be expected considering Monster Hunter Wild isn’t out until sometime in 2025 and it’s coming to xbox playstation and pc.
