I really hope that my PS5 will not die before GTA 6 – reports suggest that hardware problems can damage consoles over time

- Alderon Games -founder Matthew Cassells reports supposed problems with liquid metal on PS5
- This was previously invalidated, but several players from Alderon Games’ Titans have reported the same problems
- This occurs in the midst of structure GTA 6Launch on May 26, 2026
Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6 is getting closer with a launch date set before 26 May 2026, on Ps5 And Xbox series X And S. However, recent rumors about the former console and the supposed hardware problems have worried me a bit about whether PS5 systems will survive until that time.
As reported by WCCCTECHThe founder of Alderon Games (an Indie game -developer), Matthew Cassells, emphasized a recurring song from PS5 -Shutdowns from both players and staff of the staff Titans game. Cassells in particular claims Moore’s law is dead (Via YouTube) That the game crashes from problems with liquid metal overheating.
Many gamers have suspected this in recent years about the PS5, with suggestions that Position your console vertically Would ensure that the liquid metal escapes and leave dry spots on the apu of the console. This was invalidated, but the worries have now surfaced, with more users now expressing frustrations about abrupt console -shutdowns.
This is perhaps the worst time for these reports to come up again, such as GTA 6 has been set for launch next year. That may seem like a long way ahead, but it will arrive rather on consoles than we expect, and if you have a PS5 as I own, it can again hear about these issues worry.
GTA 6 Does not come to the PC (at least during the launch), and is not expected to come to the platform for a year or more. The only players in the clear (if these problems with liquid metal are legitimate) are Xbox owners, and I am not one of them. As much as I am pumped for the long-awaited title of Rockstar, it would be difficult to buy another PS5 console, especially with the recent price fluctuations.

Analysis: just place your PS5 horizontal to be on a safe side …
Fortunately I have not come across any problems with my PS5 since I bought it on the launch day in 2020. I will also notice that I have never placed it vertically on a TV unit or desk, so if there is some legitimacy for the problems with liquid metal, that is probably why my system has been safe.
There is also an added bonus of less dust structure when placed horizontally, and I can confirm this because I have hardly seen any dust in my PS5. So my advice is to prevent you from standing up your console, just to be on the safe side.
I have to note that there is no guarantee that these reports of problems with liquid metal are indeed accurate, but I prefer to go carefully, in case that. We’ve been waiting for more than ten years GTA 6. It must have been 13 by the time it is launched, and I would hate to expand my console in the most important phase of me.
GTA 6 (From today) is the most expected game of all time in my books, so let’s hope that our systems will not ruin us.
Maybe you like it too …
