I reduced my ‘tech neck’ lines with a ‘panel’ – it also helped with my cheeks
A SKINCARE enthusiast has cracked the code to combating tech neck, double chin and nasolabial folds in one fell swoop.
She said her beauty purchase had caused a deep line on her neck that was completely unnoticeable.
Reddit user Og_kitten_mittens shared her tips in a thread about expensive products that are worth the money.
Her must-have is a red light therapy panel.
She suffers from rosacea and it has given her skin a more even tone.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Red light therapy used to be a facility found only in expensive spas.
Now, beauty therapists can take the five-star treatment home with them thanks to red light panels that are smaller and easier to transport.
“I have rosacea and this has really evened out my skin,” the Redditor wrote.
“I started having cheek and nasolabial folds (not static lines) and they are less than four years ago, pre-RLT.”
However, she warned that the consequences would be negated if she “changed course” for more than three months.

“The sagging is starting to return and the line between my jaw and chin is no longer smooth and a small bump is developing in my cheek area, just below the corner of my mouth.
It doesn’t just work on her face.
“What is most noticeable is that my ‘tech neck’ wrinkles, which I have had since birth, have been significantly reduced,” she says.
“They used to be very deep and striking in all kinds of light.
“Products like lotion, conditioner and hair dye can build up in the folds.”
After faithfully applying the red light therapy, she saw a clear difference in her skin.

“Now the bottom one is not visible at all in good light and the top one is greatly reduced,” she said.
The Redditor said she has no brand loyalty to any specific red light district.
“I’ve had Biomax, Mito Pro, a Comfytemp mat, and a small flashlight from a random brand on Amazon and I would recommend them all,” she said.
“Half the diodes in the mat failed after a year, but it was super cheap so I don’t care.”
The Mito Pro Red Therapy Light Panel is available starting at $369 on their website.
Although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a number of LED therapies for use, Harvard Health recommends precautions such as shielding the eyes.
Other Redditors also weighed in on the radiant skincare routine.
“I need to look into it, I have the same concerns,” said one.
