A cash-savvy woman has wowed everyone with her stunning kitchen renovation on a budget.
The average homeowner spends between £5,000 and a staggering £12,000 on a new kitchen, although budget kitchens can cost from as little as £3,000, according to recent data from Rated People Revealed.

But recently, one frugal woman, Sarah Brazier, left everyone stunned when she revealed she spent just £131 to give her drab kitchen a brand new look.
Going the popular way DIY on a Budget Official On the page, Sarah shared that the family had recently moved into their new home, but that the kitchenette was “17 years old” and in desperate need of an overhaul.
The woman uploaded a photo of the sad state of the room, describing the kitchen as “tired and dated,” adding that “the kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover.”
Before the spectacular renovation, the kitchen was clean and tidy, but lacked character. The floor was dark gray tiled, the walls were cream colored, matching the white backsplash, and the light wood cabinets were also quite plain.
However, with a little paint and patience, Sarah managed to transform it from boring to fantastic, without it costing her a fortune.
For the stunning transformation, the DIYer used tins of paint from Rust-Oleum, with other buyers able to order the renovation essential for around £24.99.
Sarah not only gave the white tiles a brand new, funky, geometric look with a gorgeous mustard paint, but also brightened up the boring cabinets.
No more boring and light wood, this element now had a beautiful white look, which perfectly matched the splashback in the background.
Meanwhile, the lower cabinets went from drab to beautiful with a gorgeous sage color, instantly making the kitchen feel cozier and more inviting.
During the renovation of the room, Sarah did not forget the boring countertops. These were once black, but now had a beautiful wood print, thanks to a purchase at a home furnishing store.
According to Sarah, she used Ribbeck Oak DC Fix self-adhesive film, which you can buy from B&Q for £9 for a 2m roll.
Completely delighted with the beautiful results, she wrote in the caption of the post: ”All this was done with paint (including the tiles) and DC fix for the countertops.
”Total cost – £131 and a few hours painting!
”We also had the handles replaced, but that wasn’t necessary. It did cost extra money.
