I rode the world’s first roller coaster water slide – and it was on a cruise

Have you ever had a ‘This is Bonkers’ moment on your travels?

Mine comes when I settle in an inflatable smoothly on what the world’s very first hybrid roller coaster lighting is.

It is on the newest £ 1 billion skipel of the Norwegian cruise company Norwegian Aqua of £ 1 billion and, while my quickly reaches the launch pillow, I prepare myself on the elevator.

There is a new experience around every corner, from pickle ball and table tennis to crazy, high -tech attractions.

The mini golf has personalized, computer-coupled balls for cheating. Then there is the ‘Glow Court’ whose interactive games vary from shooting hoops to chasing lights. It’s great – like Wii Sports on Steroids.

But the biggest sweat is structured, anticipating ‘The Drop’ – a pure, traps that will send you ten stories.

It is an efficient way to reach deck eight of deck 18, but the thought puts me off breakfast.

Eventually I pick the courage, step in a sci-fi capsule and wait for ‘the drop’ closed with the eyes closed, with palms. Fortunately it only takes 11 seconds.

Try it again? Not in a million!

Norwegian Aqua is about having fun in your way, so if exciting sensations with high octane do not appeal, no problem is being encouraged.

In addition to the sun loungers at the swimming pool, there are beautifully designed seats around the Promenade Deck and my balcony cabin is also a welcome meeting place, with design in calming creams and blues and striking wave-inspired artworks that are still called a whole wall Aqua.

But it is the spa that the ultimate R&R offers.

In addition to thermal swimming pools and steam rooms, there is a unique yellow ocher clay soaked sauna.

The healing properties work miracles on the skin (especially the elasticity) and the difference can then be felt. If only I had one home.

It is rare to find a new ship that has been so well thought out. The crew is friendly, but not in your face.

The sustainable references also earn a thumb up, with remaining croissants who are restored in syrup for Mai Tai cocktails.

And shows are also brilliantly manufactured. One is a raunchy romp by Prince -Hits that you can view from the Mosh Pit. Another is a master’s work in the air.

Sit at the front for the best chance of oking the skills of the Hoop Acrobat … and dreamy physique!

We stop once at Great Strapp Cay, the private island of the Norwegian Cruise Line in the Bahamas, the perfect opportunity to admire Aqua from far – the sliding documents winds around the entire ship and the hull is striking, decorated with colorful artworks.

After a day spent with swimming, sons and parties on barbecuegrills and salads, it is finally time to return to the ship.

Can I press a final ride? Yes ma’am.

So I go back to the sliding shooter and I notice that I am screaming and screaming more than ever when I struggled and cannon balls with a lightning speed – Bonkers yes, but also rather brilliant.
