A horrible father admitted that he was arrested three years before the alleged monster was arrested for pathogenic crimes against children.

But the destroyed father told Daily Mail Australia that he had not raised the alarm for fear of being branded homophobic for pronouncing Joshua Dale Brown, 26.

The man’s child was two years old when he was placed in Brown’s care in Creative Garden Early Learning Center Point Cook, in MelbourneWest, for a year in 2022.

Brown has since been accused of more than 70 sex offenses for children, including the sexual penetration of a child and the production of material for child abuse.

Brown was described as socially withdrawn and disturbing around children by the father of one, who said he always had a bad feeling about Brown.

He said that Brown regularly would wear an inappropriate Skin-Dight jeans and leather boots to work in the childcare center and did his utmost to avoid the boy’s father.

The father said that Brown also refused to make eye contact and avoid every conversation with the parent.

“I would try to communicate with Josh when I dropped my son and chat, and he would always turn his head and never look into the eyes,” he said. “It was strange.

“He acted shady, would just look away or on the floor, and my son never wanted to go to him, but he would run to the other educators.

“I talked about it with my wife and said there is nothing here.

“But I was worried if I would follow up, I would be ‘that guy’ and labeled homophobic, which I am not. ‘

“I had no evidence and what could I say? “He is wearing tight skinny jeans and leather boots with an inch heels and looks like he’s going to crack, not to work?”

“I didn’t want to be that person.”

The family was one of the hundreds who received an SMS from the Ministry of Health and the Victoria Police on Tuesday about the investigation into ‘alleged incidents in childcare centers’.

“We understand that this may be upset and we want to assure you that help is available,” it was said.

The text also explained that they would receive an e -mail with more information.

“I just thought there must have been something strange that happened in our area, but later I saw an article with Josh’s name and photo,” he said.

‘And scared, it was there and I remember that I thought this could not be really.

“I sent my wife a message and told her that she sat down better before I sent it to her and I just thought to see him every morning and know that the guy was shady.”

Brown was also accused of reckless pollution of goods to cause alarm or anxiety, which is understood to refer to the alleged contamination of food with physical liquids.

“I know the chef who was there at the time and she had a child who was there too,” he added.

“She would have been destroyed and is also an alleged victim. So many people have lifelong punishments of what he reportedly did. ‘

Brown’s charges relate to his employment at the daycare center where he worked between October 2021 and February 2024, although he also worked in more than a dozen other centers in Melbourne between 2017 and 2025.

The police said that the alleged victims were between five months and two years old.

After the news broke out and the parents of 1,200 children were encouraged to have them tested for infectious diseases, the father hurried to collect his son who was still attending the same daycare center.

Although the father believes that his family might have had a happy escape from the alleged crimes committed against at least eight other children, he feels for the staff and other parents involved.

“But they just thought he was really great with the children,” said the father.

The Victorian government is already reusing the operation of the State with the Check system for children and has now ordered the regulator for the early childhood to investigate the behavior of the Operators for Childcare that Brown employs.

Although there have been calls to forbid men to work in the industry, with a Class Action already going on about the allegations, the father does not believe that that is the answer.

“Children benefit a lot from having another male role model in their lives,” he maintained.
