I spent all my money in Tesco but couldn’t resist the perfect knitted dress
Now that fall is just around the corner, it might be time to consider adding some new pieces to your wardrobe.
Fashionista Lacey shared how she spotted the perfect knitted dress from Tesco that looks ideal for the colder months.
On her @laceylouise.xo1 She wrote: “Girls are RUNNING to Tesco for the cutest knitted dress.”
The chic item comes from the F&F series and has a ribbed knitted fabric and long sleeves.
It also features a round neckline and finishes in a peplum style at the waist.
And luckily at £25 it won’t cost you too much.
Lacey not only showed the dress in the store, but also tried it on at home. It seemed like the perfect dress for the new season.
But she admitted she may have to wait until payday to click it up.
One viewer commented: “I’ll have to wait until next Thursday when it’s payday. Tesco already robbed my bank,” to which Lacey replied, “Me too.”
Many people were eager to add the Tesco item to their wardrobe.
One of them said: “I love these style dresses.
“I wear them every fall/winter to work, family events, literally everywhere.”
A second added: ‘This would look like this Nice on you with pantyhose and boots.”
The dress looks remarkably similar to H&M’s viral fall dress from last year, which they’re re-releasing this year.
Some shoppers even pointed out the resemblance, with one saying: “This reminds me of the H&M store. winter dress from last year.”
Last year many people raved about the garment and now it is back in beige, pink and khaki for 2024.
The description reads: “Short, fitted dress in soft rib knit with a fully shaped section at the front and back.
“Round neckline, slightly dropped shoulders, long sleeves, flared cuffs with a slit and slightly flared skirt.”
Primark’s best deals for autumn
Heading to Primark soon? Keep an eye out for these items.
Here, Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals her top six Primark buys this autumn.
Coat£60
I know what you’re thinking: ‘£60 for Primark?’ Yes, it’s more expensive than we’re used to from Primark, but it’s worth every penny.
This one is from their Edit range, which is more expensive than the rest of their collection and is built to last.
It is a wool blend that is durable and warm, and has a timeless straight silhouette that is slightly oversized and will last not only this season but also beyond.
Bag, €16
Big bags are back… Finally, in a big way.
This bag exudes luxury with its croc effect and dark orange colour. Plus it’s ideal for carrying your laptop, lunch, change of shoes, bag – basically everything you need for the day. And all for £16.
Jacket£32
Field jackets are very popular this season with celebrities and catwalk models. Designer brands like Barbour, Burberry and Bottega wear the utilitarian look.
They are great to wear over jeans or as a contrast to a floral or flowy dress. They are also the perfect in-between jacket.
Dress£18,
You’ve probably seen, heard and read that leopard print won’t go away at all in the fall. To illustrate the trend, this dress is a must-have.
Sleeves? Check. Midi length? Check. Ultra-flattering square neck? Check. It’s got it all.
Pair it with black over-the-knee boots or your favorite sneakers during the day and go for a chic look in the evening with gold heels and accessories.
Jeans£16
Barrel-shaped, balloon-shaped, horseshoe-shaped – whatever you call them, they are this season’s must-have trouser styles.
I tried on a pair from Primark and they fit great, are comfortable and flattering.
So if you think you don’t have anything that meets the fashion, you can trade in your favorite denim for this model and be completely up-to-date again.
Bootand, £24
It’s boot season and instead of feeling like you have to buy boots in every color, length, and height, opt for one pair that you can wear with most of your wardrobe.
My jaw nearly dropped when I saw that these black, knee-high block heel, flat toe and side zip shoes (so I don’t have to take them off at the end of the day) were just £24.
If you buy one thing this season, make it this.
