According to Redditor JenniferJasonleighthe purchase helped with everything from softening skin to removing bad odors.

“I don’t know if it’s a secret, but glycolic acid toners went viral for a reason,” she said.

She couldn’t believe how well it worked for so many different problems, and in record time.

“They’re ridiculously multifunctional,” she said.

“After two to three times of regular use, I see a dramatic improvement in my sebaceous glands and the visibility of my fine lines and pores,” the woman said.

It also gave her an advantage in other areas.

“It helps with body odor and strawberry legs,” she said.

Just when she thought it was enough, she realized it was also a game-changer.

“Another pleasant surprise: it’s a great primer for a darker, more even, longer-lasting self-tan,” she said.

Her steps for a “beautiful, even tan” include using a physical exfoliant in combination with glycolic acid, which makes a “noticeable difference.”

I’m 40 but look younger than I did when I was 20. I spend a lot of money on skincare but my biggest secret doesn’t have to cost anything.

She had learned the hard way that this was the best way to be flawlessly kissed by the sun.

“I made this amazing discovery when I applied a self-tanner after using a glycolic acid toner on my face, neck and underarms,” she said.

“When I woke up in the morning, I noticed that my face and the area around my armpits had become darker than the rest of my body,” she added.

For best results, she recommended testing it on a small patch of skin first, being careful not to over-exfoliate or cause skin irritation.

She had also heard that the magic contained in the bottle helped with dry scalp and dermatitis, but she had not yet tried it on those areas herself.

  • Make sure to keep your skin hydrated from within by drinking water and from outside by using a moisturizer.
  • Always wear sunscreen, even when you are not in direct sunlight.
  • Use vitamin C to brighten your skin. Don’t forget to apply it to your neck too.

“How often do you use it? I’m afraid it might destroy my skin barrier,” one Redditor commented.

“It depends on what your skin needs. I started with a few times a week, then it went up to every other night,” she replied.

“I have quite dry skin, so I might up it to evening, depending on the time of year. Always followed by a moisturizer, of course, and an occlusive if needed,” she added.

Her beauty routine consists of applying the product from head to toe, approximately every seven to ten days in preparation for her self-tanning treatment.
