I think I look ten years younger than I am, but trolls don’t seem to agree
A WOMAN who claims she is always mistaken for a high school girl has been brutally humiliated.
Courtney Petri, believed to be from the US, proudly showed off her youthful appearance via TikTok, but the reaction was not what she wanted.
According to the fashion-conscious woman, who thinks she looks ten years younger, strangers can’t guess her real age, with many even assuming she hasn’t even finished school yet.
“I always get mistaken for a high school student,” the woman said recently revealed in a video.
The brunette beauty was so happy with her appearance that she posted a clip online in which she claimed that she often looks like she is under 18, while she is almost 30.
”Can anyone match my freak? Is 27 but looks 17.”
Unfortunately for the style-lover, who sported a sleek half-up hairstyle, the reactions were anything but kind, with TikTok users quick to point out that, in their eyes, this wasn’t necessarily the case.
Thousands of people gathered to share their initial suspicions – and sadly, many insisted that not only did Courtney not look 17, but that she actually looked 17. older.
“You don’t look a day younger than 37,” one person wrote meanly, while 68,000 others liked the comment.
Another agreed, writing: “He looks more like 27 but looks 37.”
Someone else joked: “17 more years until I retire.”
A fourth noted that the comment about ‘high school’ may have been referring to something else: the school staff.
”Maybe a high school teacher…”
After taking the internet by storm for all the wrong reasons, the style maven uploaded another clip where she fights back against the internet trolls.
”You guys need to take it easy, my age isn’t even that bad.
