A woman’s trip to the Cheesecake Factory turned out to be anything but fun after her boyfriend got mad at her.

She explained that he became angry with her after she flashed at nearby diners in the restaurant.

Reddit user Technical-Steak6535 shared the dating disaster in a post.

She explained that they were going to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner to celebrate their first anniversary.

“My boyfriend planned it because he knows how much I love the Cheesecake Factory. I REALLY love their cheesecake,” she said.

The date was going well until an older man at the table next to him pushed his chair back, tripping a waiter.

“[He] “I tripped and spilled hot coffee on my back,” she said.

“It was clearly burning and it scared me.”

Instinctively she screamed and pulled up her shirt to dispel the heat from her skin.

To her horror, her boyfriend was furious about the situation.

“I have quite small breasts, so I don’t normally wear a bra. And of course I didn’t think about that when something hot ran down my back and burned me,” she said.

“I actually showed them all to the tables around us. Yes, I was embarrassed, but at the same time, they’re just boobs.

“When I realized what had happened, I pulled my shirt back down, but it stayed there for about 15 seconds.

“The server apologized over and over, but it wasn’t their fault. It was all just an accident.”

Even though she was forgiving of the situation, her boyfriend was not.

“[He] wanted to leave, to leave right away. He said I was being overly dramatic in the way I was reacting to the situation, and maybe I was, but it really scared me, and it burned me,” she said.

“He told me I had put on a show for everyone in the restaurant, especially because I had been screaming when it happened, and that we had to leave.”

Her friend added that she should have felt “humiliated.”

She managed to convince him to stay for the rest of their date, but he remained restless.

“He kept saying that the men at the tables next to us were staring at me and probably thinking the wrong thing about me, but I said it wasn’t my problem if they were being so rude,” she said.

“When we got in the car, he told me that I ruined our wedding day by making him sit through it, and that we should have just left. He said he [couldn’t] I think I’d choose a piece of cheesecake over his comfort.

“We argued about it in the car the whole way home, and now we haven’t talked about it at all.”

Viewers gave her relationship advice and a few words of comfort.

“Honestly, you’re supposed to remove the affected clothing after coming into contact with hot liquid,” one commenter said.

“You want to get that stuff off your skin as quickly as possible; a few seconds can really make the difference between a first- and second-degree or second- and third-degree burn.

“No one tried to call the police for your offensive behavior, so everyone clearly understood that it was not inappropriate to take your shirt off in this context.

“And honestly, after getting hot coffee spilled on you, you DESERVED a damn cheesecake! You earned that cheesecake!”
