I traded in hair serums for an $11 ‘beard’ purchase and my locks are softer than ever

A HAIR CARE fan shared an unconventional purchase that keeps her hair soft and barely causes split ends.

She explained that the $11 purchase means she no longer needs any other products in her post-shower hair care routine.

Reddit user Biting Moose shared the beauty tip in a post.

She said the $11 Honest Amish Beart Balm Leave-in Conditioner did wonders for her hair.

“Honest Amish Beard Balm for your hair! The only product I use after washing my hair,” she said.

She explained that she initially wanted to buy the beard care product for her fiancé.

“I was looking for a birthday gift for my fiancé and thought a beard softener would be a good idea, lol,” she said.

After reading the reviews, she decided to try it out for herself.

“I saw a review from a guy who said his wife loved it for her hair after she accidentally used it or something,” she said.

“Her friends noticed it, and now her friends and female colleagues are using it, and so on, blah blah.

“I thought, why not give it a try? OMG, best decision of my life.”

She applies the conditioner to damp hair and then blow-dries it.

She explained that the product left her “very full and straight” hair in tip-top condition.

I had long, thick 4C curls before I went bald during chemo – my diligent hair care routine helped it grow back by 80%

“My hair has never been so soft and strong. Almost no split ends,” she said.

“My wallet cried with joy when I stopped using expensive, organic hair serums that did the same or almost the same thing [the same results].”

And the best part was that she wasn’t the only one who noticed.

After receiving comments from strangers about the health of her hair, she came to a final conclusion.

“Endless compliments and touching of her hair. It’s amazing,” she said.

She added that the $11 can will last a long time.

After using it for months, she explained that it was well worth the money.

“It comes in a very small can, but you can use very little of it,” she said.

“I’ve been using it for just over half a year now and I hardly notice anything anymore.

The best part is that the canned product is easily accessible.

“At Walmart it’s only about $10 and at Amazon it’s a little more expensive!” she said.
