A Frugal mum has wowed social media users with her stunning makeover of her daughter’s attic bedroom.
With costs rising, many homeowners around the world are looking for ways to fix up their homes on the cheap. Mom Yvonne Davidson recently shared some inspiration.

The DIY mum from Camelford, North Cornwall, left her Facebook friends in awe when she revealed how she refurbished her daughter’s attic bedroom without it costing her a fortune.
Before the gorgeous makeover, she shared on the DIY on a Budget Official On the page the bars were black with a white spot here and there.
This was a stark contrast to the white walls, the yellow carpet that had been thrown aside and the room also had little furniture.
But with some paint and some second-hand furniture they managed to get their hands on, the bedroom got a completely new look.
The attic used to have black beams, but now beautiful white beams have been placed, which immediately makes the room feel more spacious. The climbing plants around it also contribute to the overall look.
While most of the walls remained white, Yvonne painted one side of the room a beautiful shade of blue, a choice experts say is calming.
The couch, which was already there when the family moved in, was moved to directly under the large window, while the futon bed was oriented toward the large TV screen.
Overjoyed with the result – and rightly so – the mother chuckled: “I’m almost finished with my daughter’s attic room. It nearly cost me my life.
”We always have to watch a budget, so the futon bed was second hand and we also got several free pieces of furniture and some that we took with us when we moved.
“Anything above that, you basically have to carry up a ladder, so the options are limited.”
In the post she continued: “The couch was already there, how, I don’t know!”
“When Homebase and the local paint shop changed hands, that was the offer.”
According to the financially astute parent, the project is not quite finished yet, as some things still needed to be changed.
”We still have to do the stairwell/ladder and the cabinets under the eaves. We still have to decide if we are going to make them white or another color.
