In her viral videoTikTok user Mads (@ayupwithmads) talked her followers through the process she followed to spruce up the bathroom.

She explained that she lives in a two-bedroom terraced house, which she transformed on a budget.

Mads revealed that the linoleum floor in her bathroom matched that in her kitchen.

However, the “thin wooden planks” under the bathroom floor began to rot due to leakage.

The TikToker revealed that the damaged floor was currently being held together with duct tape.

She and her partner Ryan decided to tear it up and replace it with an 11-pack Self-adhesive vinyl floor tile with Moroccan mosaic effectavailable for £14 from B&M.

Mads revealed the hack she learned at fashion school that helped her install her floor.

“I made a lot of pattern pieces and drew around them so that I can make the rotten floor puzzle around my new floor,” she explained.

The TikToker laid the floor in her kitchen and cut out the same pattern for her B&M purchase.

After cutting the floor to the desired shape, she added a foam underlayment to prevent further rotting.
