I was 18 when I met my husband, 56. His first two marriages were for green cards
A WOMAN has insisted her marriage to a man 38 years older than her is true love, despite his previous two marriages being for green cards.
Leah, 23, met Brit Gary, 61, when she was just 18 years old, and the couple have now been together for six years.
The couple first met on a dating app, where Leah lied about her age and claimed to be 21.
Intrigued by Gary, Leah sent him a wink, and the pair arranged to meet Leah from the Philippines, and bring a chaperone.
“I was scared because I had never dated a foreigner,” she told Love Don’t Judge.
Leah said she was very physically attracted to Gary when they met, while he said he was attracted to her “innocence.”

“I could tell this was the type of person I was looking for because I wanted a traditional Filipino woman,” he added.
The duo lives in the Philippines and Leah spends her time cooking and cleaning for her husband as a stay-at-home wife.
Gary said he isn’t concerned about the age difference and that it didn’t matter to him “whether they were 21 or 41.”
However, he admitted that he was initially concerned that Leah had lied to him about her age as he wasn’t sure he could trust her.
However, he had already developed feelings for Leah, so he decided to forgive her.
Leah said people think she is only with Gary for his money, but he was broke when the duo first met.
The couple has been sharing insights into their unconventional marriage online and has received a lot of responses from social media users.
Leah is often called a gold digger, while Gary is heavily criticized for dating someone younger than his son.
“In the Philippines, it’s not unusual to see a guy my age with a girl Leah’s age. People don’t understand the cultural differences,” Gary said.
Gary has been married twice before, and both marriages were for green cards.
