NEW DELHI: Actor Allu Arjun on Saturday denied any direction related to the stampede outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, claiming the life of one woman and seriously injuring her son. The incident happened. Allu Arjun appeared for the premiere of his latest film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Terming the incident as purely coincidental, the Telugu superstar said that he will personally help the victim’s family in every possible way.
“We are very sorry for the family. I will be there personally to help them in any way I can. I was at the cinema watching a movie with my family and the accident happened outside. It has no direct relation to me. It was purely coincidental and unintentional,” Allu Arjun said at a press meet.
“I have been going to the same theater for 20 years, and I have been to the same place more than 30 times. There has never been an accident like this. I have to reserve my comments because I don’t want that.” say anything that could disrupt the matter,” he added.

Earlier, the Pushpa 2 star called the incident ‘unfortunate’ after he was released from Chanchalguda jail early morning after the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail and declared that he is entitled to the fundamental right to life and liberty, regardless of his celebrity status.

On Friday, he was sent to fourteen days’ custody by a lower court Telangana Police arrested the actor from his residence.
Telangana police had registered a case under Sections 105 (Manslaughter not amounting to murder), 118 (1) (Voluntarily causing hurt) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Chikkadpally police station after receiving a complaint from the deceased family.
The state police blamed the actor for the incident and rejected allegations that adequate arrangements were not made to control the large crowd that had gathered.
State police said organizers “did not meet with any officers and simply submitted the letter in the indoor section.” Police said the “crowd was well under control” before Allu Arjun “emerged from the sunroof of his vehicle and began waving at the gathered crowd.”
“This gesture attracted a large crowd to the main entrance of the theater. At the same time, his private security began urging people to make way for his vehicle. His team was told to take him back citing a large public gathering, but they took no action.” It and Allu Arjun were there in the theater for more than two hours.
