I was scolded for paying £34,000 for a facelift at 34, but it’s so worth it
A mum has revealed she desperately ‘begged’ a surgeon for a facelift at the age of 34.
Blonde beauty Ashley Stobart, from Hale, is better known to her fans as one of the hosts of the Nip Tuck podcast alongside friend Lauren Harris.

The bubbly duo recently appeared on Love Island star Olivia Attwood’s podcast So wrong, it’s right to discuss everything – from co-parenting and being a single mother, to the cosmetic procedures they’ve had, including Ashley’s obsession with a more youthful appearance.
Speaking on the podcast, reality TV star Olivia, 33, said: “Ashley, let’s talk about the facelift because I know people will be obsessed with this.
Three months ago you underwent a complete facelift […] People will say, who cares, she’s 34, this is crazy.”
Olivia called Ashley’s decision to go under the knife at the age of 34 ‘extreme’ and wanted to know why the stunner opted for the dramatic surgery.
Ashley explained: “Honestly, through years of filling, dissolving, filling, dissolving, treating, the new s***, all of this, I had just lost the definition in my face.
”I didn’t look like myself anymore because I had been stuffed and stuffed back in.
”Obviously I was pregnant a number of times in a short period of time.
”And if you have fillers and you are pregnant, fillers retain water.
”So my face was… huge. And then I had a double chin, which didn’t look good.
“So yeah, I just thought, I need a facelift and I was going to get one.”
During her journey, the beauty enthusiast revealed that it wasn’t as easy as she had hoped.
Chat during the episodeshe recalled being repeatedly “rejected” by a surgeon, whom she emailed annually, only to be denied treatment because of her age.
Ashley chuckled, “The person we were talking about earlier, yes. Every year I would send him an email – ‘please?’
“Don’t try again next year. No more attempt next year. It went on like this for four years.

1998 – Katie underwent her first breast enlargement, going from a natural B cup to a C cup. She also had her first liposuction
1999 – Katie had two more boob jobs in the same year, one that took her from a C cup to a D cup, and then to an F cup

2007 – Katie has had a nose job and veneers on her teeth

2018 – Katie went under the knife again for a facelift
2019 – After flying to Turkey, Katie underwent facial, eye and eyelid surgery, a Brazilian butt lift and a tummy tuck
2020 – Katie has her 12th boob job in Belgium to correct a botched surgery and a new set of veneers
2021 – For a full body overhaul, she opts for eye and lip lifts, liposuction under her chin, fat injection in her buttocks and liposuction of the entire body
2022 – Katie undergoes another eyebrow and eye lift and undergoes the ‘largest breast enlargement ever’ in Belgium, her 16th in total
2023 – Katie opts for a second rhinoplasty and at the same time also gets a lip lift and new lip fillers throughout the year
2024 – Katie has her 17th boob job in Brussels after revealing she wanted to downsize. Just days later she performed at Dublin Pride and surgeons warned her lack of recovery put her at risk of infection
”And then he finally went, yes, fine then. So I thought, okay, great.
”And his prices had quadrupled in four years. So now he starts at £60,000 or something like that.”
Luckily for the young woman, one of her friends then recommended a plastic surgeon who had her face done much ‘cheaper’ – and the results were ‘incredible’.
“So she gave me the name of this guy who cost half that price.”

In the end, the blonde fashionista left a whopping 4cm off each side of her face, creating a more snatched look.
“I’m really happy with it,” Ashley said, before revealing minimal scarring around her ears.
During the nine-hour operation, the mother added, they spent hours squeezing out all the ”green” filler.
The expensive facelift hasn’t come without criticism from trolls and haters, but that doesn’t bother Ashley.
