I work at Tesco and there are two types of customers I hate, plus the way I get revenge
A TESCO employee has revealed everything about working for the much-loved supermarket chain, including the two types of customers they hate.
The anonymous employee explained that while he can’t stand the chain’s delivery drivers, he will always make sure to retaliate against customers who order online.
Eager to share what his experience at Tesco is really like, the employee took to social media to reveal all.
Posting on Reddit, on the r/tesco thread, the man captioned his post ‘I hate working at Tesco.’
The frustrated employee then explained that when people order through the chain’s home delivery service, he will always make sure their fizzy drinks are not tampered with.
He claimed: “I shake fizzy cans and bottles before putting them in a Woosh.”
Not only this, but he also shared what he does when confronted with annoying customers, as he added: “I silently shout and curse at stupid or rude customers.
“I’m screaming into the chiller.”
Not only does he ‘hate’ the majority of delivery drivers, but he also revealed the two types of customers he can’t stand.
He posted: “I hate most Woosh drivers, they are rude or a bit n****y.
“I hate how old male customers can say whatever they want and I won’t retaliate.
“I’m slowly starting to hate the regulars.”
But that’s not all. He claims that he cannot stand it when his colleagues call in sick or when he has to refuse a shift.
He said: “I hate feeling bad because I refused a service that is not my contract day, I still have to refuse one.
I hate distribution, I always smell like Tesco apple cider

“I hate colleagues who only call in sick because I am asked to cover for them.
“I hate five-hour shifts (waste my day but only get paid £55 for it).”
Insider tip from a Tesco employee
A Tesco employee has revealed a surprising secret about the self-scanning carts.
According to the employee, the random checks on customers using these carts are not entirely random.
The controls are actually triggered by a specific customer habit.
If you regularly pick up and put down items without scanning them, you are more likely to be selected for an audit.
This is because the system detects suspicious behavior, which may indicate possible theft.
To avoid delays, it is best to scan the items immediately after placing them in your shopping cart.
In addition, the Tesco worker explained two other things he can’t stand about his job.
He concluded: “I hate distribution, come on guys, why is stacking terrible? I always smell like Tesco apple cider.
“I hate people who use Evri.”
Reddit users respond
Reddit users were stunned by the man’s claims and quickly flocked to the comments, eager to share their thoughts.
One person said, “Get help for your anger issues.”
