7. Xreal told us more about Project Aura
We already knew that the Aura glasses from Xreal Android XR functions would bring functions for the Line -Up of Xreal, but we didn’t know too much about the hardware itself. Now we do that.
To start with, the device will apparently have a field of vision of 70 degrees-that is much larger than the FOV at the 57 degrees Xreal One Pro And which gives the Aura glasses project a huge virtual screen.
It is also tied to a calculation puck that Android XR will perform using a Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm, although the glasses itself will still have a “modified” X1 processor.
The glasses only land somewhere in 2026, but when they do this pair of Android XR specifications, it can be something special.
6. Garmin found his Apple Watch Ultra 2 rival
Surprise! Garmin Has the Garmin Venu X1, an “Ultrathin” smartwatch with a huge 2-inch Amoled display and a maximum of eight days battery life.
The new model contains 32 GB internal memory, presumably for music on the guard, plus Garmin’s updated Elevate V5 Heart-rate sensor, most recently used on the Garmin Forerunner 570 and 970.
Unfortunately, the Garmin Venu X1 is not cheap and costs $ 799.99 / £ 679.99 / AU $ 1,499. We will test it as soon as possible to see if it justifies that price tag.
5. New Bose belonging were deleted for the launch
The Best Ruisprints You can now buy, be made by Bose (which is logical – the company has made the very first active headphones of noise reduction), and at the moment we recommend that they do not buy them. Why? Because there is a newer version income and Bose says they will be even better.
The Bose Quietcomfort Ultra Earbuds 2nd gene will be launched later this summer with a price tag of $ 299 – that is around £ 220 or AU $ 460, although this is gambling, because the prices and availability for these regions still have to be announced.
What can we expect? AI algorithms for better filtering of sudden noise peaks via the active system of Bose, plus improved speech collection and call quality, the latter is very good news, because that was a weak place compared to rival earplugs from Technics and Bowers & Wilkins.
The new case may also be wireless charging-the first-gen ultra earplugs needed a sleeve to do this performance, but it will now be standard here.
4. Summer Game Fest 2025 packed
Summer Game Fest 2025 is and disappeared, and between PlayStation, Xbox and the own showcase of the event there was plenty to be enthusiastic about.
Some of the most exciting game announcements came in the form of world premieres, such as Resident Evil Requiem, Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls, Scott Pilgrim ex, And Street Fighter 6s Year 3 Character Pass.
We also have a new look at expected upcoming games such as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Clockwork Revolution And The outer worlds 2.
There are loads to look forward to, and that is everything before we even had the chance to see what Nintendo is cooking with a new direct showcase that will probably happen soon.
3. Xbox announced a handheld
Finally, after years of rumors, Microsoft has announced an Xbox handheld: the Rog Xbox Ally. In fact it gave us two.
Unlike Asus’ current Rog Ally and Rog Ally X, the Xbox version has an adapted design with preformed handles that reflect the shape of the current Xbox wireless controller. And as they would expect, both Xbox Allys have the Xbox ‘Abxy’ -Knoplay -Out and a special Xbox start button.
We do not yet know when it will launch, nor how much it will cost, but we expect that it will be just as expensive as the existing ally.
2. Apple told us what went wrong with Apple Intelligence

Months after Apple publicly admitted that the Apple intelligence-belt-rousing Siri was more difficult to deliver than they thought, the tech giant repeated the explanation during his WWDC 2025-Keynote and almost cryptically added that it will arrive “in the coming months”.
Most of us still had many questions. Fortunately, Apple Senior Vice President of Software-Engineering Craig Federitehi and Apple Global VP of Marketing Greg Joswiak (and Tom’s Guide) for a broad and revealing podcast who eventually explains what happened to Siri Development, why the smarter version happened next.
There is much to learn about too promising and too little delivery and how similar errors to prevent, and the entire podcast reaches far beyond to cover liquid glass, and reveal that surprising iPados 26. Speaking of that …
