‘I’d be lying if I said I was doing well,’ says Mrs Hinch days after the pregnancy news
MRS Hinch has admitted she would be lying if she said she was doing well, just days after announcing her pregnancy news.
Last week the influencer, 34, revealed on Instagram that she is expecting another bundle of joy with her husband Jamie.
The mother-of-two, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, is pregnant with her third child, another boy.
But now Sophie has responded to fans keen to know how she is doing just months after the death of her father, Alan.
The cleaning fanatic took to her Instagram stories to respond to a fan’s comment that simply read: ‘Plain and simple, how are you?’
To this, Sophie opened up: ‘If I said I was doing well… I’d be lying.
“When I’m with my family, distraction and routine make me smile, but an hour later, when sadness strikes again, I’m lying on the floor and crying back to square one.
“So I don’t really know how to answer this question guys, but what I do know is that I’m so lucky to have a family that needs me.
‘Our Ron and Len are just everything, and now I’m raising our baby boy, who I believe daddy sent us to heal us hearts.
“So we continue. I know anyone who has experienced grief will completely understand.
“We’re moving… because we have to.
“Sending love to all of you on this journey is beyond words.”
Not only this, but Sophie also shared an emotional video of hers not long after discovering she was pregnant news.
In response to a fan’s comment that read, “Can we please see a video of you finding out you’re pregnant, if you have one,” Sophie shared a short clip of herself looking at a positive pregnancy test.
‘Mixture of every emotion’
The blonde beauty broke down in tears and hugged her dog Henry, writing: “I don’t actually have a video of my discovery as I just peed on a stick and ran to my mum.
“But I’m one of those people who has to take ten tests to believe it.
When I’m with my family, distraction and routine make me smile, but an hour later, when sadness strikes again, I’m lying on the floor and crying back to square one.

“It was a mixture of every emotion, but everything above and beyond happiness, comfort, healing and pure love.”
In addition, Sophie confirmed to the question ‘Did you discover through the video that it was a beautiful boy?’ to her 4.8 million followers: “The place we wanted to sit to find out is a place I won’t share publicly. I’m sorry.
“We wanted to be as close to my father as possible, so we did that.
“Me, Jamie, Ron, Len, Henry, my sister, my niece and my mother.”

Sophie’s grief journey
Mrs Hinch’s update comes just months after Sophie shared the heartbreaking news that her father had passed away ‘suddenly but peacefully’.
In April, Sophie lost her father Alan after he died unexpectedly in his sleep.
The cleaning fanatic previously revealed that her late father, who suffered from lifelong ‘chest, lung and heart’ problems, “never blessed with… fantastic health” and was hospitalized for several weeks in 2023.

She explained: ‘I’d be lying if I said I was doing well…in fact, I feel broken.
When did Sophie Hinchcliffe’s father die?
On May 8, 2024, Sophie revealed that her beloved father had passed away ‘suddenly yet peacefully’.
Her father actually passed away on April 25, 2024, but his grieving daughter waited until she was ready to share the sad news with her fans.
In April 2023, Sophie revealed how she took a break from social media after her father ended up in hospital.
She said at the time: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My father has never been blessed, shall we say, with fantastic health – of his chest, his lungs, his heart.
“He’s always had a hard time, you know.”
She heartbreakingly added: “I just want him to be happy.”
”I’m feeling an extreme mix of emotions and not too much makes sense right now.
”It’s like I’ve entered this new part of my world, where there’s only sadness, and it feels heavy; something I can’t describe unless you’ve been there.
”For now, I’m really trying to navigate this new life without one of the people I love most; one of my biggest support systems.
”I feel like my father taught me everything I know; except how to live without him.”
The grieving mother also took time to thank her fans for their support during this difficult time for both her and her loved ones.
