“I haven’t really aged in 10 years, honestly my face hasn’t really changed,” she said.

Vitamin C

The mother shared on TikTok that she takes vitamin C tablets, among other things, to keep her skin clear and wrinkle-free.

Vitamin C can help heal spots, reduce hyperpigmentation and give you a radiant complexion.

At Boots you can buy a box of 60 Vitamin C tablets for £3.50.

PRP

Stef shared that she also undergoes a Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment to keep her skin looking youthful.

PRP treatment is a treatment in which plasma is extracted from the blood and then, after a microneedling treatment, applied to the face and rubbed into the skin.

The treatment takes only 20 minutes from start to finish and aims to rejuvenate the skin.

PRP stimulates skin cell renewal, giving you more beautiful, fuller skin.

Stef said she has this treatment about four times a year, but on average it costs her around £1,000.

Retinol

Retinol increases skin cell production and helps unclog pores.

It also exfoliates the skin and increases collagen production, making fine lines and wrinkles less visible.

Stef uses retinol in her skincare routine and you can buy a retinol serum from Boots for £4.

Sunscreen

Another product Stef always adds to her skincare routine is sunscreen.

Sun damage is the biggest cause of premature aging. Wearing sunscreen daily can help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

“Stay out of the sun,” Stef said.

Peptides

Stef shared that she uses copper peptides every day.

Regular use of copper peptides can lead to a noticeable reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

“It makes for a really beautiful regeneration, it’s amazing,” Stef said.

You can buy The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum at Boots for £28.90.

Stef added that she also strives to live a healthy lifestyle by meditating, exercising and making sure her stress levels aren’t too high.

Her video, posted under the username (@get_wavy) must have made quite an impression on people, as the video has been viewed more than 400,000 times on the video platform.

TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.

Someone said: “Absolutely agree, I use the same skincare products but without the peptides and it has stopped my skin from aging.

“At 37, I look younger than I did when I was 20.”

A second person said, “As the daughter of a dermatologist, I agree, this is the way to go.”

A second person said, “You look beautiful. I’m 36 and take vitamin C. I also wear sunscreen and retinol at night.”
