I’m 37 but my ‘biological age’ is 28 – get the ‘rich people’ treatment for less

A BIOHACKER has found a way to take anti-aging to the next level and make it more accessible.

For wealthy people like former Venmo CEO Bryan Johnson who would like to live forever, the price tag may be enough to deter people.

Simon Sakhai of Jung+ has made 37 solar journeys, but his ‘biological age’ is still 28. He is determined to make biohacking more accessible to others.

“When it comes to ‘growing older,’ it’s important to understand that ‘growing older’ is a complex process,” he said.

“And by the time you see a ripple, there are already more than 10 different types of damage that occurred upstream that allowed you to see the ripple in the first place.”

He added that the problems may be due to a lesser-known issue in the skin care industry.

CAUSES OF AGING

Sakhai emphasized that old habits can be the cause of skin that could use some new life.

“These earlier causes can include the build-up of senescent cells, loss of fibroblast function, formation of AGEs, and decreases in NAD+ levels in the skin,” he said.

He explained why most people have never heard of this terminology.

“While these are basic concepts in the science of longevity, they simply weren’t on the skin care industry’s radar because their knowledge of skin was so superficial and one-dimensional.”

Sakhai said there is no magic ingredient that will slow down aging, but many people go to longevity clinics to look more youthful.

Sakhai advised identifying the causes of aging and addressing them in a targeted manner.

“This is what happens at elite life extension clinics and why celebrities seem to be resisting aging. They have very well-trained, integrative practitioners who can map this out for their clients,” he said.

Sakhai also shared his own list of must-have supplements you can take to combat aging.

“Niacinamide, spermidine, astaxanthin, collagen peptides, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, n-acetylglucosamine, vitamin C and vitamin E,” he said.

“You can purchase all of these ingredients separately, but we’ve tried to make it easy to incorporate them all into our Cellular Skin Renewal protocol,” he added.

The Cellular Skin Renewal Protocol sells for $90 on the Jung+ website.

GREAT AGEING

Sakhai emphasized the complexities of aging and where professionals play a role.

“Wealthy people, if they are lucky, have doctors who are well-functioning and who are trained to extend lifespan and take a systems approach to health,” he said.

He said this includes both lifestyle and supplements to live longer, but it comes with a hefty price tag.

“This physician-led longevity care can cost $100,000 a year or more,” he said.

“While a complete supplement protocol from Jung+ can cost you as little as $117 per month.”

He added that purchasing the equivalent of each ingredient on Amazon can cost up to $238 per month.

“In the meantime, we’ve probably spent a thousand times as much time and effort researching and developing those protocols as any physician specializing in longevity could,” Sakhai said.

“We took the complexity of the functional approach and created a product ecosystem that mirrors the framework of these large longevity clinics.

“[It’s] a simple, self-guided solution that helps you choose from a list of pre-built goals for your lifespan.

“We then provide complete, pre-formulated protocols for longevity supplements that work synergistically together.”

He added that a basic formulation should not deny the science behind protocols like Jung+.

“At first glance, the products are simple,” he said.

“But behind the scenes, a huge amount of research and technology has been involved to translate the latest scientific developments into products that people can simply order and take in the form of supplements.”
