I’m 40 and got rid of all my wrinkles using roasted dinner leftovers – here’s how I do it
A 40-year-old anti-aging expert shared how she turns her roast dinner leftovers into a miracle cure.
According to Stace Fizzy, the flesh-like solution is “better than Botox for wrinkles” and even has the power to clear up eczema and CELLULITE.
Stace regularly smears her face and body with beef suet… yes, that’s cow fat.
“The results are insane,” she says.
Beef suet is a type of rendered fat that comes from the fatty tissue of beef. It is usually kidney fat, the fat surrounding the kidneys and loins.
Skincare experts have long hailed it as an anti-aging hero and now Stace has shared how it has “transformed” her skin.
In an Instagram reel that went viral, she shared how she makes beef suet using fat sourced from a beef restaurant at Costco.
“It stimulates blood circulation, increases collagen production, skin elasticity and promotes faster cell regeneration,” says Stace.
“Apparently some butchers give it away for free.”
To convert the slices of white cow fat into beef suet, you need to melt it in the oven.
Cooking it at a low temperature causes the liquid to separate from the solid components: the lard.
You can then strain and cool the oily liquid (be careful not to burn yourself), creating the white or yellowish paste that Stace says is “better than Botox.”
What is the scientific basis for this?
Beef suet is a natural source of fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K, which are essential for maintaining healthy skin.
Vitamin A promotes cell renewal in the skin, making fine lines and wrinkles less visible. Vitamin D supports the growth and repair of skin cells, helping to maintain skin elasticity.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin against oxidative stress, one of the main causes of premature aging.
Vitamin K promotes skin recovery and may reduce the visibility of dark spots and scars.
What is collagen?
- Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and provides strength and structure to the skin and muscles
- It plays an important role in maintaining the elasticity and hydration of the skin
- As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging skin and reduced skin firmness.
- Collagen production begins to decline in our mid to late 20s and early 30s. By the time we reach 40, it has declined dramatically
It’s important to know that while collagen-based skin care products can provide benefits, their effectiveness can vary greatly.
Some experts argue that topical application of collagen has limited effectiveness compared to other skin care ingredients that stimulate collagen production in the skin.
Although beef suet itself does not contain collagen, it supports the skin’s natural production of collagen.
The nutrients in sebum help nourish the skin and create an environment conducive to collagen synthesis, which is crucial for skin elasticity and firmness.
“This is my top skin care recommendation and literally a testament to God,” Stace added.
“I’ve used all the best, super expensive, organic skin care products out there, but nothing is as effective as sebum.
“For everything from dry skin to acne, eczema, wrinkles, cellulite and everything in between.”
According to Stace, bottles of beef suet can cost up to £155, making her at-home trick a much cheaper option.
WARNING!
Although many people find beef suet to be good for their skin, it is important to test it on a small patch of skin first.
This is especially important if you have sensitive skin or are prone to pimples, as this oil is heavier.
