One woman discovered how to solve this makeup problem by skipping traditional concealer.

Reddit user Center Honeydew388 explained her method in a post on the social media platform.
“Instead of concealer, use a color corrector,” she revealed.
“I like it much better. I use a cheap one [one] called LAGirl at Target.
“I have light skin, am black and wear orange and peach.
“It looks wild at first, but after mixing with a sponge it’s a miracle.”

Downtown-honeydew388 added some tips for irregular eye look.
“Color corrector is not visible if the correct shade is selected,” she said.

“I wear very, very minimal makeup, but I can also go for a full look.
“Don’t apply it all the way to the lash line.
“Apply it about a quarter inch down, especially on the soft area under your eye, not on your lower lid.”
She also gave some tips for keeping the skin under the eyes hydrated, which can prevent future eczema formation.
“As for hydration: water (of course), a very mild/non-irritating lotion, apply Vaseline to the areas where you have snail eyes, and sleep with a cool mist humidifier next to your bed,” she said.
Her tips clearly work: she remembers someone guessing her to be much younger.
“The other day someone couldn’t believe I was 40. They thought I was 24,” she said.
Someone appreciated her cosmetic advice and responded to it in the comments.
“I normally keep my makeup as minimal as possible, but the skin under my eyes can always use a little help,” she says.
Another Redditor raved about the product, which is available at Dollar Tree.

She added that it’s best to wear it when it has dried a little, due to its watery consistency.
