Instead of promoting all kinds of lotions and potions, she shares diet and lifestyle tips that can improve the skin from within.

And there are two foods she swears by that have anti-aging properties.

In a recent TikTok post, Adriana shared how her life “really started after 40.”

She even said that she looks better now than she did when she was 20, thanks to her improved lifestyle.

“Better makeup, better clothes, more money, more confidence, a quieter life,” she wrote.

Adriana also eats a lot of wild salmon and turmeric, which she says are her top anti-aging foods.

Neuroscientist Robert Love, who specializes in helping people battle Alzheimer’s disease, recently claimed that both salmon and turmeric are the ultimate anti-aging foods for your skin AND brain.

Adriana revealed in March of this year that she completely agrees when she opened TikTok.

She uses both products regularly and is convinced that they are the secret to her youthful appearance.

Wild salmon is good for both skin and brain health as it is rich in nutrients, especially omega-3 fatty acids.

The fatty acids in salmon help maintain the skin’s moisture barrier and also reduce dehydration and inflammation.

Additionally, the omega-3 fatty acids and proteins in salmon are believed to promote collagen production, which is essential for maintaining firm, youthful skin.

It is also a good source of vitamin D, which supports skin cell growth and repair.

Turmeric, on the other hand, is good for skin health thanks to the active substance curcumin.

Curcumin has powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and wound healing properties.

And because it is a strong antioxidant, it neutralizes any harmful external influences that can penetrate and damage your skin, such as pollution.

These antioxidant properties may also slow the aging process by protecting skin cells from damage that leads to wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity.

What is collagen?

  • Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and provides strength and structure to the skin and muscles
  • It plays an important role in maintaining the elasticity and hydration of the skin
  • As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging skin and reduced skin firmness.
  • Collagen production begins to decline in our mid to late 20s and early 30s. By the time we reach 40, it has declined dramatically

It’s important to know that while collagen-based skin care products can provide benefits, their effectiveness can vary greatly.

Some experts argue that topical application of collagen has limited effectiveness compared to other skin care ingredients that stimulate collagen production in the skin.
