“Try to get at least eight glasses of water every day,” she said.
“I’m trying to get half my body weight in grams, I can’t stress that enough.
“I also love herbal teas that enrich and keep the skin and body radiant.”
The cost of a cup of herbal tea is about 10 cents.
Every day she uses a cleanser, exfoliator and microdermasia machine.
The gadget costs just £50 at Boots, while professional microneedling across the UK can cost between £50 and £350 per session.
Wendy follows using the machine with ice or cold water to “close” her pores.
She then adds a few drops of hyaluronic acid to her moisturizer to hydrate the skin.
The anti-aging product is used twice a day, while retinol is only added to her moisturizer at night.
“That really gives me a nice glow while I sleep, it soothes my skin and helps get rid of those fine lines,” she said.
Wendy swears by using an antioxidant face mask twice a week to keep her skin tone even.
She added that everyone should use sunscreen every day, regardless of their skin color, to protect against skin cancer.
She sleeps at least seven hours a day and exercises regularly in addition to her skincare routine.
The importance of sunscreen in your skin care routine
Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez – known as Dr Dray – revealed why you should wear sunscreen.
The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this is important for all ages – is protect your skin from the sun, Andrea emphasizes.
“The vast majority of external aging is due to ultraviolet exposure,” she continued, and not because you “don’t use a jazzy serum or put ninety different things on your face every day.”
“If you’re not doing it in your twenties, start doing it now.”
But she said using sunscreen alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing, such as wide-brimmed hats and long sleeves, and that you should not stay out in the sun for too long.
If you do this throughout your life — and all year round, not just in the summer or on sunny days — “you will reduce the visible signs of photoaging,” Andrea said.
These are wrinkles, messy pigmentation and sagging skin.
Her latest beauty secret for slowing the signs of aging is meditation to relieve stress.
“If you’re stressed, your skin will feel stressed too,” she said.
“That’s a must.
“Moisturized skin, well-nourished skin, fruits and vegetables, and getting enough sleep are all lifestyle changes that need to be made.
“It will enrich your life, improve your skin and make you so happy.”
Thousands of viewers were impressed by her timeless look and grateful for her tips.
“Scream! I’m so excited about the secrets! Let me get my notebook,” someone said.
“You look incredible!” another commented.
“Insane how you look absolutely gorgeous even without makeup,” a third added.
