A WOMAN who likes to date younger men has hit back at internet trolls who labelled her a ‘damaged commodity’.
Tara, originally from the US, is a self-proclaimed cougar who has had relationships with men younger than her sons, who are 30 and 24.

The 50-year-old confessed that she usually keeps her love for younger men ‘under the radar’ for this reason and even has to make sure she isn’t friends with the parents of her romantic partners.
In a recent clip that Tara shared on social media, she explained that she is not looking for a husband, but just wants to have fun with her young lovers.
This came after someone commented on an earlier video and wrote: “For the young guys, just hit and run. These women are damaged goods.”
But the grandmother had no time for haters and explained that she was not looking for love.
In fact, it is the men who continue to haunt her.
“Oddly enough, I can’t get rid of them, once I go out with them they don’t go away,” she said.
Tara explains that she can tell right away if she clicks with someone, but that she often gets the wrong impression and ends up having to break it off anyway.
She confessed that she doesn’t want to waste her time on someone she’s not compatible with, unlike the younger men she dates.
And as for the fact that it was “damaged goods”, the grandmother had a perfect excuse for that too.
“If you are emotionally stable, financially stable, down to the bottom of your soul, Earth“, fun – if you call that damaged goods, I’m guilty,” she said.
She added that her goal is not to be a “wife” and that she is only looking for fun and companionship, not a husband.
After she posted her response to the comment on TikTok, her post quickly went viral and even more men rushed to the comments to try and score a date.
Someone wrote: “It seems like this person can’t get along with someone from your category.”
A second chimed in: “I would be honored to be with you.”
“Where can I apply?” said another.
“You’re not old, I’d call you experienced and there’s nothing wrong with that,” someone else commented.
Another user said he “likes to date older women because they know what they want.”
And someone else added: “You are so beautiful, the young men don’t deserve you.”
