A couple with a huge age gap have responded to nasty internet users who claim the woman is only with her husband for the money.
Lesley, 34, met her husband Vince, 74, when she was just 26 at a fancy restaurant.

Vince was immediately taken with Lesley and asked her out to dinner after seeing her sing at the restaurant. The rest is history.
The couple got engaged a year after they met and have been together for eight years, five of which have been married. However, not everyone is enthusiastic about their romance.
Speaking with Love does not judgethe couple admits that they have received nasty comments.
The beauty queen, who won the title of Mrs Pasadena Beauty Pageant Queen in 2016, said: “I’ve had to deal with ‘oh, you should be with him for his money’ or references to ‘gold diggers’. It can be annoying.

“I have to be honest, I was a little embarrassed in the beginning when I was dating him.
“I was more sensitive to Grandpa’s statements. Within a year of us dating, I was like, fuck them. I didn’t really care anymore.”
Vince seemed shocked when she initially agreed to a date and asked if she knew how old he was, but Lesley revealed that age was just a number.
Vince had children from a previous marriage – now in their 40s and 50s – and is even a grandfather.
The couple admitted that their children were not happy with the relationship when it started, but that they have now come to accept it.
Lesley and Vince have talked about having children, but they are still unsure whether they want to.
But despite all the hate, the couple claims they are 100% soulmates and don’t care what nasty internet trolls say.
The clip, posted on YouTube, quickly went viral, garnering over 12,000 views, with people quick to share their thoughts in the comments.
Someone wrote: “Being together for 8 years is respectable. Even if she was only in it for his money, they still live together and seem happy and that’s all that matters to me.”
Another noted: “Their age difference is bigger than hers. That should be the first clue.”
