“I am a big believer that castor oil promotes eyelash growth,” they said.

They indicated that their preference is black Jamaican castor oil.

“It’s been years since I did this, but now I feel inspired to start again!”

They explained that their new lash routine made a huge difference in the length of their lashes.

“Before bed, after applying my night cream, I curled my lashes (with a different curler than the one I used when applying mascara) and applied a small amount of castor oil to my lashes as I curled them,” they said.

“My lashes were much thicker and longer when I did this.”

They added that the castor oil could also serve as an inexpensive eye cream.

“Plus, the extra oil I put under my eyes is a fantastic moisturizer!” they said.

They advised beauty lovers to start applying the oil slowly.

“A little goes a long way! Your eyes shouldn’t get irritated. If they do, even after using a little bit, it might be best to stop using it,” they said.
