I’m A Celeb GK Barry’s evolution from youthful brunette to ‘Botoxed’ star
I’m a celebrity…Get me out of here! will return to our TV screens this Sunday, but before that happens, let’s take a closer look at this year’s most controversial signing.
GK Barry, 25, whose real name is Grace Keeling, takes on the challenge of survival in the Australian jungle.
Grace rose to fame on TikTok during the first Covid lockdown in 2020 and soon ventured into the world of podcasts, launching her own The Saving Grace Podcast.
She now has more than 3.6 million TikTok followers, after gaining more than a million in just over a year.
GK Barry has interviewed big names including TOWIE’s Chloe Brockett, This Morning’s Allison Hammond, YouTuber Calfreezy, Madison Beer and Rob Beckett.
But the social media star appears to be the big-mouthed I’m A Celeb signing after she was criticized for a series of ‘harmful’ comments in her latest X-rated podcast, which reportedly sparked ‘crisis talks’ at ITV.

The influencer, who turned down a Strictly spot for a stint in the I’m A Celeb jungle, was in the middle of an “absolute PR nightmare” after her chat with OnlyFans creator Bonnie Blue.
The controversial model previously made headlines for sleeping off a string of university students during Freshers Week.
But fans condemned GK Barry for the way she handled the topic in her interview, accusing her of promoting “harmful behavior” and being a “disgrace to feminism.”
Filler and Botox
According to experts, GK Barry has evolved from a youthful brunette to a ‘chin filler & Botoxed’ star.
Although she may only be in her mid-20s, it looks like the blonde beauty has made some minor changes to her face since entering the celebrity scene four years ago.
Beauty professionals acknowledged that the star may have undergone a variety of non-surgical treatments, including Botox, filler and even radiofrequency-based microneedling treatments.
Dr. Alexandre Duvernois, an aesthetic doctor from Hyalure KOLtold Fabulous: “Although GK Barry is young, she may have undergone subtle aesthetic treatments to enhance her natural beauty. functions and for preventive measures.
“Her forehead appears to be very smooth, which is often a sign of anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox.
“She may also have used fillers to subtly enhance her facial features; A small amount of filler may have been added to her lips for a fuller look, while a chin filler may have been used to elongate her face, making it look slimmer and toned.
“These improvements would contribute to her subtle and balanced appearance without being too noticeable.”
Microneedling treatments
Another expert suggested GK Barry, who has a relationship with Charlton Athletic striker Ella Rutherford, 24, may also receive regular aesthetic treatments to contour her skin.
Dr. Vincent Wong, cosmetic doctor at Omnieresaid: “GK Barry’s face appears well-shaped and well-structured, which may be a result of her age, but it is likely that she also regularly undergoes aesthetic treatments that lift and contour the skin and tissue.
“Radiofrequency-based microneedling treatments such as Sylfirm X are a popular choice for defining features.
“This treatment uses targeted heat energy and microneedling to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, tighten tissue and improve overall facial contours.
“This could contribute to Grace’s fresh and smooth skin.”
Who is GK Barry?
GK Barry amassed more than a million followers on TikTok in just over a year during the first UK lockdown of 2020.
Grace Keeling, better known as GK Barry, is a 25-year-old social media influencer.
She rose to fame during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, creating a TikTok account and posting short vlogs showing her daily life.
Although she originally planned to remain low-key, she gained a large following in no time.
By August 2020, just five months after starting her account, she had already gained 100,000 followers and reached over a million in just over a year.
She now has over 4.5 million followers on her social media platforms.
After obtaining a degree in Film Studies from Nottingham Trent University, Grace continued her education with a Masters in Digital Marketing.
While at Nottingham Trent, she worked on the set of the BBC series Doctors and the Netflix film Hood, as well as creating content for ShawMind – a charity dedicated to promoting mental health awareness.
Grace is known for her podcast, called The Saving Grace Podcast.
During the show she invites celebrities and influencers for a conversation about life and the latest trends, but also about embarrassing stories from their past.
In May 2024, Grace said she was dating a female footballer.
Then it emerged in June that the football player in question plays for England.
The Sun revealed Grace and Charlton Athletic striker Ella Rutherford, 24, are getting serious – they have met each other’s families and holidayed together.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “GK has had Ella for a while but they are very official now.
“They grew even closer during a holiday in Benidorm and GK met her whole family.
“She is very happy and they have so much fun together.”
While the Cambridge-born youngster may have had a few needles in her face to smooth out her lines and fill in her pout, she has also broken her silence during her upcoming TV stint, as she said the I’m A Celeb jungle looks like absolute hell” before flying away.
This was said by the TikTok star, who has now also become a permanent fixture on ITV’s Loose Women panel The mirror: “I hate insects. I hate sleeping outside. I’ve never done it before. And so I think that would be a lot.
“But I feel like it would probably be good for other people too.”
Fake tan and eyelashes
And as GK Barry was peppered at an airport in Australia yesterday, fresh-faced and ready for her biggest TV appearance yet, here’s a look at her all-time favorite beauty essentials.
She is rarely seen without two things: fluttering false eyelashes and a dark fake tan.
She is also a fan of heavy makeup and regularly wears smooth contours and dark eyeshadow.
But as GK Barry heads to the jungle of I’m A Celeb, where celebrities aren’t allowed to take or wear make-up or skincare products, could we see the real, natural GK Barry for the first time?
The stars will be provided with several essentials, including toothpaste, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, deodorant and generic body lotion, according to former contestant Lisa Snowdon — but that’s it.
As for the packaging, the stars get to choose one luxury item from home, such as a pillow or a photo, but they don’t get to see it until about a week into the show.
In previous years, Georgia Toffolo received a bottle of bronzing lotion in her care package, so there could be hope for GK Barry.
