“A bride who is obsessed with shoes would be best off treating herself to a gorgeous pair of designer shoes and choosing a dress with a slit to show off the shoes,” she continues.
“Another bride might opt for a pair of practical, nude heels that she can wear again later, knowing she’s wearing a ball gown and no one will see her shoes anyway.”

The couture dress designer also has tricks to cut costs without sacrificing the look of your dreams.
“Find a dress that speaks to you on its own, without any alterations,” she said.
She knows from her own experience how quickly those extra details can make you even more anxious about choosing a dress.
“Adjustments add up quickly in costs,” she said.
“Unfortunately, as a designer, there is nothing I can do about that, because tailoring dresses requires a lot of work from the talented craftsmen in my studio,” she adds.
