I’m a cougar – I meet younger men in the most unlikely places, shops are ideal
A puma has revealed the unlikely places where she finds her cubs.
Patsy Mennuti, 53, has dated men many years younger than her and prefers them that way.
The life coach, who runs her own company HellaCougar, doesn’t care what people think and has learned where to find the best toy boys.
She said: “One of the things I love about dating apps is that it takes the guesswork out of it for younger men to guess whether an older woman likes someone their age.
“And it takes the guesswork out of older women having to guess whether a younger man is into someone their age.
“When you match, you set the age range. This is perhaps the biggest hurdle for these age gap meetings in real life.
“People don’t know if the other person would be receptive to the age difference.”
“Besides the apps, I also enjoy going to clubs with my ‘Cougar’ hat on, and that leads to a lot of conversations.
“I also sell a whole line of merchandise for men that they can wear to start conversations.
“Casinos and resorts are good places, as are concerts and wine bars.”
Patsy added: “I know a cub who met a lot of women in the supermarket.
“I think the lesser known go to country line dancing classes or something like that are in your area or country. It’s an easy one.”
Earlier she said that people called her selfish because she was only focused on herself, as she did not want to start a family.
Patsy said: “Society has done a great job of convincing women that they need a husband and children to have a fulfilled life, that they are not complete without these things.
“While motherhood and wifehood are actually very, very, very hard work, and women still don’t get the emotional and physical support they need from their partners.
“In many cases, they are given another body to deal with and care for. I have met countless women over the years who are so lonely and isolated in their relationships with their husbands and so many feel like they have to ‘do it all.’
“Motherhood and wifehood can be rewarding with the right partner, but so many studies now show that the happiest people on planet Earth… are single women.
“I am proof that that path can be extraordinarily rewarding. Sometimes I call it radical selfishness.”
