A cougar who admits to dating men 10 years her junior has revealed she is constantly approached by suitors wanting her to become their sugar mommy.
Amanda Keller, 37, tends to date men at least a decade younger than her, but she insists they be the ones to make the first move.

Over the past five years, she has had relationships with seven men between the ages of 26 and 28.
She is currently in a relationship with a 26-year-old.
Keller said her age doesn’t bother her, but admitted it can get in the way because men expect her to be their “sugar mommy,” with some even asking her for cars and gifts.
She explained that her age allows her to “teach” younger men how to act in the bedroom and stressed that people shouldn’t “judge every cougar by its cover.”
“The age difference doesn’t bother me; it’s the person’s behavior,” said Keller, an operations manager from Detroit, Michigan.
“A lot of them don’t want to settle down; they want you to take care of them financially.
“Younger men tend to date older women who are already in committed relationships so they don’t have to pay for everything.
“In the past I’ve been asked for cars and money. They come in with all these things they want and get mad when they don’t get them.”
Keller has been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2014, after being in a relationship for 17 years.
She said the last seven men she dated were in their 20s and many of them initially thought she was their age.
“I look their age, and they assume they’re about my age,” she said.
“When they talk to me, they know they’re not as old as me.
“I mean, my daughter recently turned 18 and my ex, who I dated for four years, is 28.
Many men of that age want to learn and are looking for a woman who can guide them in what they are looking for sexually.

“They are always between 25 and 28 years old.
“It would be nice to date someone my own age, because maturity can get in the way.”
Don’t ask for pocket money
Keller said one benefit of dating a younger man is that it’s “exciting” and she can teach them how to improve their performance in the bedroom.
But the downside is that they expect her to be their sugar mommy and she is not mature.
When it comes to dating, Keller uses apps like Tinder, Bumble and Facebook Dating to meet new people. Younger men also often message her on Instagram.
“A lot of younger men who approach me on dating apps often think that older women are just sugar mommies,” she says.

“Although I have a good job, I am not looking for another child and that is the problem.
“I’m not a mother to them.”
THE TENSION OF TEACHING
Keller has been in a relationship with a 26-year-old for the past three months and says things are going well.
She claimed that she enjoys the “fun” aspect of dating younger men.
“I really like it. I feel like people in that age group are more excited about it,” she said.

“I think it actually adds to the excitement when you show them new things that they haven’t experienced before with women their own age.
“I think women [who] their age doesn’t have much depth.
“When it comes to dating, I want to go horse riding, take a hike, or have a drink and paint.
“Younger people just go to the cinema or to each other’s homes.”
BEDROOM LESSONS
When it comes to sex with younger men, Keller says she needs to “teach them the tricks of the trade” and guide them on how to please a woman.
“I think you need to teach them more about what you need and how to do it,” she explained.

“Many men at that age want to learn and are looking for a woman who can guide them in what they are looking for sexually.
“They are absolutely ready to learn.”
BAD REPUTATION
Keller argued that people are too quick to judge older women who date younger men.
“Don’t judge every cougar by its cover,” she said.
“Not every cougar is looking for a 25 year old, but the younger man might be looking for them.
“I think cougars get a bad name because we’re the ones looking for the 25-year-old.
“Usually they are the ones who approach older women.”
