I’m a cougar, men my own age hate that I date younger men, they’re just jealous
A COUGAR admits she’s hated by men her own age because she chooses to date younger men.
Influencer Amandabetter known as Dugheed, prefers romances with men who are no more than 15 years younger than her.
The 43-year-old Glasgow resident is fed up with the increasing number of men who fit his age and doesn’t think it’s a big deal.
The social media star, who is known as officialdugheed on TikTok, said: “People think I’m 10 years younger unless they know me, so older men don’t seem shocked.
“But online I do get hate from boys my own age, because they know I wouldn’t be interested.
“I’m very young at heart, so it’s never strange or weird.
“Men have been doing this for years and there is still a stigma attached to women being independent and enjoying the company of younger men.
“I’ve had five men in the past and spent five years with each of them and then left. So now I just do what I want and I don’t think about forever because we’re not here forever.
“I just live in the moment and love a spontaneous lifestyle.”
Amanda, who recently started an OnlyFans page, adds: “Women don’t understand why I want to be single and just date, because the stigma says you have to be settled by a certain age.
“But I just love men, dating and being single.
“I’ve never felt that younger women are jealous when I date men their age.
“I have received a lot of support on my social media from women of all ages.
“They understand why younger men are better: they are full of energy, cheerful and more eager to be adventurous.”
Meanwhile, another puma has told her about the strange places where she finds her cubs.
Patsy Mennuti, 53, has dated men many years younger than her and prefers them that way.
The life coach, who runs her own company HellaCougar, doesn’t care what people think and has learned where to find the best toy boys.
She said: “One of the things I love about dating apps is that it takes the guesswork out of it for younger men to guess whether an older woman likes someone their age.
“And it takes the guesswork out of older women having to guess whether a younger man is into someone their age.
“When you match, you set the age range. This is perhaps the biggest hurdle for these age gap meetings in real life.
“People don’t know if the other person would be receptive to the age difference.”
“Besides the apps, I also enjoy going to clubs with my ‘Cougar’ hat on, and that leads to a lot of conversations.
“I also sell a whole line of merchandise for men that they can wear to start conversations.
“Casinos and resorts are good places, as are concerts and wine bars.”
Patsy added: “I know a cub who met a lot of women in the supermarket.
“I think the lesser known go to country line dancing classes or something like that in your area or country. It’s an easy one.”
