I’m a fit bad boy of 58 and like to wear skimpy bikinis – trolls say I look ’78’
A 58-year-old fitness fanatic says she still feels ‘hot’ despite being told she looks 20 years older.
Certified weight loss coach and health expert Elizabeth Resnick revealed that it doesn’t matter what the haters I must say she loves her body and proudly shows it off on Instagram.
The fit blonde, who recently celebrated her 58th birthday, shared an inspiring message on her platformto remind everyone to be kinder to themselves.
“You can love your body AND your life. At any age.”
The 5-foot-11 fashionista also urged others not to listen to what trolls tell them about their clothing style, whether that’s wearing a skimpy dress or sexy bikinis.
“And wear whatever you want!” said Elizabeth, posing in a racy two-piece suit with a thong.
The beautiful blonde, who aims to take between 10,000 and 15,000 steps every day, has also spoken openly about the plastic surgery and other beauty enhancements she’s undergone over the years.
“I’ve had breast augmentation, so I’m not hiding anything.
“I get Botox regularly – that’s why my forehead is nice and smooth,” she laughed. the clip respond to a viewer.
While the mother of two enjoys working out to look her best and sexiest, she admitted that her love for fitness goes beyond just aesthetics.
”It’s about so much more than looking cute in a bikini (although I won’t lie, that feels amazing.)
“It’s about feeling strong, confident and energetic every day.
“I’m five years post menopause and I’ve never felt better. Everyone deserves to feel this great!”
To help other social media users feel their best, whatever their goals, the exercise fanatic also regularly shares delicious and nutritious recipes, such as peanut butter cookies that pack 8 grams of protein per cookie.
According to the mother of two, who is believed to be from the US, you should ‘prioritise protein’ and build your meals around protein-rich foods such as meat, fish and eggs, as well as nourishing your body with ‘colourful fruits and vegetables’.
In addition to a healthy diet and a maximum of 15,000 steps per day, the fitness fanatic also swears by daily strength training, which she does for just 10 minutes.
But despite the inspiring and positive message, the 58-year-old has also become the victim of nasty online trolls, with people claiming she looks older than her age.
A rude bully said: “She looks more like a 78 year old. Fix those helium balloons.”
Another agreed, writing: “You actually look a lot older than 58…..”
Why Women Should Wear Bikinis Regardless of Their Age or Body Shape
IF you think you have to hide your body this summer – think again!
Fabulous Magazine’s fashion director, Tracey Lea Sayer, has
Times have changed since 2015, when Protein World spent £250,000 on an advertising campaign featuring a svelte 20-year-old bikini model asking readers, “Are you beach ready?” The resulting outcry over the objectification of women was global. The verdict on the campaign and the social media backlash, which was labelled offensive, irresponsible and damaging, was well-documented, and rightly so.
Now I am happy to say that all sizes of women are represented in swimwear in the media landscape. Brands like JD Williams, In The Style and New Look, to name a few, all work with models of all sizes and ages to promote their swimwear.
My social media feed is also filled with ladies of all ages and sizes looking amazing in their swimwear. What started as a stream of shy bikini selfies has now become a body-positive movement that makes us all feel good about putting on our swimwear.
And why wouldn’t we! Our bodies are all completely different and we should celebrate that fact.
At 53 I love bikinis, I love being all tanned in the summer with as few white spots as possible. I don’t want to make myself stupid as I get older, I want to celebrate the fact that I’m still here! My goal is to keep wearing bikinis well into my 80s if I’m lucky enough to get there.
I have learned to love the aging process. I will never look the same as I did when I was 20, but I do enjoy taking care of myself a lot more than I did then. A better diet, more exercise, and lots of self-care make me feel good inside and out.
I love that other cultures love to celebrate their elders, I think we need to embrace this in Western society instead of just fetishizing the youth.
Growing older is not something to fear, but to embrace.
I’m gonna put on that damn bikini!
“You’re in great shape, but you look like you’re in your 80s,” said a third.
Luckily, it wasn’t all harsh comments, as there were also plenty of kind people who rushed to punish the bullies.
One said: “These comments failed the vibe test! Who cares if she has implants?
“She looks better than most 20 year olds. Be nice and do better!”
Another wrote: “I’m jealous! Those abs aren’t fake!”
A third said: “I’m so sorry people are so mean! Come on people!! You can do better! Give each other strength!! You look amazing!”
