I’m a flight attendant known for my amazing red lips – the exact products I use
EMIRATES aircraft are as renowned for their comfort as their flight attendants are renowned for their red lipstick.
And now an employee has revealed the secrets behind her perfect pout – and the products she uses to achieve it.
In one video on her TikTok page, Asia explained that she starts by using Fenty Beauty’s lip stain in the shade Uncensored.
“I think they only like three shades of lip stain, but they are really good,” she said.
“I would highly recommend it.”
Then she uses a “really dark shade of red” on top – the shade Takeover from Too Faced.

“That’s what I use,” she continued.
“And it takes me four or five hours.”
Asia also explained that she previously suffered from the bright lipstick ‘spreading’ during the flight.
But since she started using lip liner, that no longer happens.
When she was flooded with the same suggestions, she decided to try out a lip liner.
And in another TikTok, she thanked everyone who gave the same advice.
“My lipstick didn’t really spread beyond my lips,” she said that video.
“I removed my lipstick towards the end of the flight, as if I had taken it all off and reapplied it, but it definitely helped.
“So I’ll probably do that in the future and just buy a good lip liner.”
“Are you supposed to wear exactly this makeup as part of the cabin crew look?” someone asked in the comments section.
“I ask because the other Emirates crew members are all wearing the same look.”
“It’s mandatory to wear red lipstick, but everyone does the makeup differently. I just like to go all out,” Asia replied.
Airplane etiquette
IF you’re planning on going away soon, keep the following unwritten rules of airplane etiquette in mind…
Reclining chair: Podcast host and etiquette expert Nick Leighton explained that you shouldn’t recline your seat if the passenger behind you is working on their laptop.
He said, “Nobody likes their laptop breaking in half.”
Before reclining your seat, check what the passenger behind you is doing.
If they are on a laptop, ask before you recline your seat.
FEET: A flight attendant told The Sun: “Your boarding pass will have a number and a letter on it, this is the reserved seat you paid for.
“Your feet, which are attached to your body, have to do their best to stay in this space and stay far away from anyone else.
“If you insist on stretching, make sure your feet are covered.”
CHAT: TV travel expert Samantha Brown explained that conversations from strangers are not welcome, suggesting that others should not expect a chat.
She added, “I’m not a talker. Plane time is plane time for me.”
“This would happen to me too with the same Fenty lipstick. I started using a lip liner and it stopped spreading,” another commented.
“Yes, it really worked!” Asia smiled.
“This Fenty uncensored has to be the most beautiful red liquid lipstick,” praised a third.
As someone else said: “To stop the spread you can use a clear lip liner, which you can find at Sephora.”
“For extra powder, you can powder your lips, then your liner, then your stain and lip color,” another had suggested.
