I’m a food developer for M&S and here are the 8 totally underrated Christmas purchases
A MARKS & Spencer product developer has shared his best Christmas buys from their new range.
Brandon Spatcher took to social media to show off the best buys available from the British retailer, where he works as a product developer.
In the clip, he whizzed around the store to pick up his favorite snacks that he helped make, and people raved about his best M&S purchases.
He said: “I want to take you on a journey to show you the best products from M&S that you might not know about yet.”
He first started with their new collection of Christmas chocolates, including the £10 Winter Air Chocolate box.
The chocolates are designed to look like a winter night sky and contain the flavors; Dark chocolate with a truffle filling with peppermint infusion. Milk chocolate with a warming ginger spice filling, White chocolate with a delicious silky honey filling and his personal favorite, the
Blonde chocolate with a crème brûlée-inspired ganache filling.
Nexthe continued with the Christmas Party Light chocolates which retail for £5, including five giant chocolates filled with pistachio butter.
He also said they have the best savory mix right now, the Sugar & Spice Munch Mix.
Brandon said: “This Munch Mix is phenomenal. For just £3.50 you get a bag filled with the best savory produce from around the world. Including chilli covered peanuts and corn tubes.”
It also has a festive mix of honey caramelized almonds, milk chocolate covered raisins, noodles and salted pretzel sticks.
He also recommended the £2 tomatillo and jalapeno pepper sweet potato tortilla chips for dipping.
And to make your daily porridge even more exciting, he swore by the Banana Maple Syrup Peanut Butter for £2.65.
He also raved about the M&S lemon tart, their basic ketchup and, for a quick snack on the go, the supremely peanutty peanuts for £1.20.
The clip quickly went viral on his TikTok account @brandunpatcher with over 463,000 views and 52,000 likes.
One person wrote: “M&S food is actually worth the extra money.”
Another commented: “Omg you have the best job in the world ever.”
“You have my dream job,” wrote a third.
My M&S Christmas Highlights
The Sun’s consumer editor Lynsey Barber got an early look at Marks and Spencer’s Christmas food range, which includes 450 new items.
Here are the highlights.
White Mulled Wine, £6.11% – 5/10
An interesting twist, but I prefer my white wine cool and fresh, so not for me.
Turkey Party dip, to be determined, – 10/10
A mouthful at Christmas, top of my shopping list and I’ll be eating it all winter long.
Turkey Party Lasagna, £10, 750g – 8/10
Rich and festive, another dish that perfectly captures the essential flavors of Christmas, but I need a small portion as it is very creamy.
Hot Honey Brie Brulee £7,288g – 8/10
A cheesy dream, with extra spice from the hot honey and a bit of crunch, a great combination of flavors and a winter warmer.
Halloumi in Blankets with Hot Honey, £5.50, 240g – 10/10
A surprise hit with soft and creamy centres. Possibly better than the originals.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Oh my god, so you’re one of the people we owe? Our lives are better for your work.”
“You and your team should be knighted. M&S food is the best,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “You guys are my heroes.”
