A football star’s fiancée has revealed she still loves high street fashion after making a huge summer purchase at Zara.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of former Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw, who signed a loan deal with Wigan Athletic last summer.

She regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit creations with her followers on social media.
And although her dressing room is filled with designer bags and shoes, the down-to-earth Wag also loves a bargain.
In a recent videoThe recently engaged blonde beauty bought a number of items from Zara’s summer 2024 collection.
She said, “We’ve been gone for almost a month. We’ve been going here, there, everywhere.
“I’m finally back home and made a big purchase at Zara. And I’m also engaged now.
“We still have a lot to do.”
She added: “Summer outfits in England are the biggest challenge for me, I think.
“I love my holiday outfits, which allow you to dress up nicely in the evening [and] Wear cute mesh sets during the day.
“In the summer it gets really hot in England and I get so hot and irritable that I’d rather keep my pyjamas on.
“I’m looking for comfortable, yet cute outfits.”
It’s no surprise then that the first item Ellie bought was a pair of mint green and white striped pyjama bottoms worth £25.99, which she wore with a white waistcoat-style top worth £35.99.
Ellie also apologized for buying “a lot of leopard print,” but stressed that she is “obsessed with it and loves it.”
She bought a fitted hooded mesh maxi dress for £29.99 in the 90s print, as well as shorts for £29.99, sandals for £22.99 and a bodysuit for £19.99.
Elsewhere in her shopping spree she bought a “nice quality” white T-shirt for £15.99, a metallic gold vest top for £17.99 and a flowy black maxi dress.
She said, “It’s so comfortable. I feel like this is an outfit you’re going to wear summer after summer.”
And it wasn’t the only dress she was excited about.
“This is my favourite from the whole collection,” she revealed as she tried on the £35.99 zebra print tulle mini dress.
“This is gorgeous. It’s so comfortable, it’s the perfect length. It has a lot of ruffles, so it’s so flattering.”
In true Wag style, Ellie continued to accessorise her outfits with designer gems, including the iconic black quilted Chanel handbag and a selection of mini Telfar shopping bags.
The ‘secret’ symbols on Zara clothing labels
The next time you go shopping at Zara, take a look at the price tags.
You may find a small mold next to the size label, which is not only decorative but also serves a purpose.
According to fashion and beauty Instagram account Dailychiclife, there are symbols on Zara’s labels, and you can use the shapes to find a better fit.
In a video, the Zara expert wrote that the square symbol means that the size of the garment corresponds to the normal size.
A triangle on the label means the item runs small and you may need to order a size larger.
Finally, a circular symbol on the Zara label indicates that the item runs large, so it is best to size down if you want a tighter fit.
And for when she’s not wearing her Gucci sandals, Ellie also bought a pair of £22.99 black slides, which she claims make any outfit “chic”.
Ellie’s only complaint about her purchase is that she has already been on summer vacation and therefore cannot wear her new purchases abroad.
“Why do all the fun things about the holidays always come to mind after I’m gone?” she sighed.
“We always have to go early because of Liam’s football. All the fun stuff always comes later in the year.”
But she will certainly never forget this year’s early holiday.

Liam, who spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, proposed to his girlfriend Ellie during a holiday in Jamaica in May.
Vlogger Ellie has been with the football star since before his time at Celtic.
The childhood sweethearts met when Liam was working at Sheffield Wednesday.
His time at Celtic has not really paid off on the pitch, with the 23-year-old having made just two appearances for the club since arriving under Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
In previous seasons he was loaned to Motherwell and Morecambe and despite all the turmoil he and Ellie have come on strong.
When Ellie shared the news of their engagement on social media, accompanied by a photo of her huge diamond ring, she said: “Forever and ever.”
