Reddit user _Stupid question_ told insiders about the best products and techniques.

“I’m a hairstylist and I’m constantly looking for tips and tricks,” they said.

“It is important to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp,” they continued.

“Tea tree shampoo – Trader Joe’s has a sulfate-free version and it’s super affordable – scalp massage also stimulates circulation.”

They advised finding the ‘ideal frequency’ for washing your hair, as washing your hair and scalp too often will dry it out.

This allows dirt and product to suffocate your hair follicles.

They also want you to invest in a good conditioner and tell you which ingredients to avoid.

“I don’t recommend coconut oil or high-protein treatments as they can leave your hair dry and brittle,” they said.

Yet the greatest sacred hair commandment was yet to come.

“But most importantly – get your diet in order. I can’t stress enough to my clients that everything on the outside is primarily influenced by what’s happening on the inside!” they said.

“Your hair and skin reflect how you treat your body,” they continued.

“I myself struggle with an unhealthy/inconsistent diet. My advice is to use a plant-based protein powder to supplement your protein intake. It is essential for the health of your hair.”

They recommend adding an ample amount of B vitamins and iron supplements to your diet.

They are also fans of biotin and fish oil, but don’t think this is a quick fix.

“I can assure you that they do nothing without adequate B vitamins, iron and protein, especially if you do not consume animal products,” they said.

If you don’t take enough supplements, you can buy Difeel Premium Biotin Hair Oil on Amazon. It’s on sale for $7.28.

Another goal was to make their skin look “great”: collagen supplements.

However, they did admit that they had heard mixed reviews about the purchase, especially the vegan option, so maybe you should just try it for yourself.

Another Redditor completely agreed with their assessment.

“Stress, hormones and your body’s metabolic functions can impact the health of your hair 1,000 percent,” the researchers said.

“Honestly, this is what I struggle with the most, but I also know it would be much worse if I didn’t try the supplements/local stimulation,” they continued.
