A PROUD Mormon woman who was caught up in a “soft swinger” scandal has opened up about her fear of being ostracized by society because of her racy past.
Taylor Frankie Paul, who has over 4.1 million followers on TikTok, made waves online when she revealed that she and her husband, Tate Paul, ended their relationship after she broke up with their friends.

“We all had an agreement, and I broke that agreement,” she bravely admitted during a TikTok live broadcast in May 2022.
In the video, which is no longer available on Taylor’s TikTok page but has been shared worldwide, she explains that she and her then-husband engaged in soft swinging, a form of consensual non-monogamy that involves being intimate with other people’s partners.
While there is no official definition of soft swinging, Taylor described it as “when you just connect, but you don’t go all the way.”
She also said she had made a “mistake” by overstepping the boundaries she and her husband had agreed upon when it came to their sexual activities with other people.

“The agreement was just, as long as we were both there and we saw it and we knew it, it was okay,” she said. “And once it goes back-to-back, you’re out of the agreement. And I did.”
“That’s where I made the mistake and now I’m losing everything I have,” said the Mormon mother and influencer.
Now she talks about her fear of being expelled from her church community because of her escapades.
Taylor, mother of Indy, Ocean and Ever, spoke openly about the scandal on Hulu’s hit series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Women.
When I spoke to a friend of hers from Utah, USA, she asked her if she thought the Mormon was “a bad person”.
During a private conversation, the friend replied, “I don’t think you’re a bad person.
Why can Mormons have multiple wives?
Polygamy, or having more than one marriage partner, was preached by leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for more than half of the 19th century.
The tradition was discontinued over a century ago and the mainline churches even excommunicate anyone who practices the tradition.
Despite this, there are still many people who mistakenly believe that all Mormons have polygamous relationships.
That said, there are fundamentalist offshoots of the mainstream Mormon church that still practice polygamy.

In the chat, which was posted on YouTube, Taylor also admitted that she hasn’t spoken to the bishop or the church about it because she fears the potential consequences.

Although not much is known about the moving events, one of the women had come across rumors of oral sex in front of everyone, which had shocked and horrified the other stars.
The Mormon faith originated in America in the 19th century and has about 16 million followers worldwide. It is based on traditional family life and values.
‘Sins’ such as gambling, smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, tea and coffee consumption, homosexuality, pornography and sex outside of marriage are prohibited.
Mormons believe that God is physically present, is married, and can have children.
The community also believes that humans can become gods after death.
After the scandal swept the internet and the community, the mother responded by saying, “No one was innocent, everyone was in contact with everyone who was in this situation.”
”So yes, I am being rejected… but it wasn’t like I was hanging out with my friend’s husband.
”We were at a party, I got aggressive and we went off on our own instead of with the whole group… it was a one-off because we were gone like that.”
Swinging is not accepted in the religion. Members must adhere to the so-called law of chastity. This law states that ‘outside of marriage between a man and a woman it is wrong to touch the intimate, sacred parts of another person’s body, even if that person is clothed’.
